'The CCTV footage proves no defendant has told the police or you the truth about what happened that night'
Ms Rees now turns to the CCTV evidence.
She said: “The CCTV has proved to be an important key in finding out what happened behind closed doors at 5 Lower Llansantffraid. It put John Cole in the position where he had no choice but to admit dumping Logan’s body.
“The CCTV shows beyond a shadow of a doubt Angharad Williamson was out and about and played her part in what was going on on July 31 and (the youth) knew full well what was going on and played an active part in Logan’s murder. Unlike the three defendants, the camera doesn’t lie.”
The prosecutor refers to the alleged incident on July 29 when Williamson was seen being pursued by the youth outside 5 Lower Llansantffraid, which she later claimed to have taken place following an assault on Logan.
Ms Rees said: “Why did she leave Logan in his room with a man who had punched him numerous times to the abdomen and a violent teenager who joined in on the attack. She said she ran out to find help but that is demonstrated to be a lie, no witnesses recall her asking for help.”
The prosecutor suggested Williamson had shifted the events of Friday to Thursday to fit in with the CCTV. She added: “Why didn’t (Williamson) call for help that day or the next day?”
Ms Rees said social worker Debbie Williams visited the house on July 30 but during her visit she did not recall hearing Logan
She said: “Could it be Logan was already unconscious in his room, behind those curtains at the time Debbie Williams arrived and John Cole and Angharad Williamson have hidden from a social worker another serious injury to Logan but this time included (the youth) in their conspiracy of silence.
“The CCTV footage proves no defendant has told the police or you the truth about what happened that night.”
