Thanks for pointing those quotes out, I'd not seen them.

That being said, there are lots of learning disabilities to be had, many of which don't involve IQ at all (such as dyslexia). I personally feel he doesn't have an extreme low IQ disability, as I've not seen or heard of someone that, as such, was able to obtain a driver's license. Also, didn't I read he was recently promoted to a position where he prepped OR suites at the hospital? These are extremely sterile environments with million dollar equipment in them. I don't see a hospital hiring a 'Lennie' (of Mice and Men) for this type of work for safety and liability reasons, his and theirs.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think he's in Mensa. I just don't believe he's 'Lennie'. But I think he might pull 'Lennie' when he's in trouble.

I was agreeing with Cherry that it is possible the beach woman was a tad bit exaggerating what JM did when she saw him..I mean this is the same woman who said she looks like Hannah? I'm glad she called but she might be a drama queen just a bit. She is not anything close to looking like Hannah. Maybe she wasnt exaggerating about JM but just thinks she herself looks way different than everyone else thinks she looks. Glad she called either way. PS> I live with a drama queen so nothing would surprise me.

I doubt she meant she was Hannah's doppelgänger or something. I think she meant it like light complexion and short-medium length not-dark hair, not big boned.

I think the rumor that LE could not find his clothes from that night came from a bad description. Once they talked to bar patrons and friends he ran into, they went back for two items,the checked shirt and tank top. Imo. I do not think he changed. I think the tape just shows dark and light.

I see your point, but I'm not too concerned. WG didn't realise at the time that he'd have to recall all the details later, so he wasn't taking notes. Sounds like he did the best he could. I've been talking to my colleague all morning but she's sitting behind me now and I have no idea what she's wearing (though in return she's probably looking at my computer screen thinking "does that girl ever stop reading that forum???")

Oh I understand. I'd be hard-pressed to tell you what I wore on Friday night, much less someone else. But it would have been really helpful if WG had gotten something right. Why couldn't he have noticed the crocs? If someone is wearing crocs in public on a Friday night, that's notable right there.

I'd also like to point out this about dreads...1. They can be for "religious" reasons, and we know JM is religious. 2. Fashion, which they are popular...but in c-ville they're popular because of dave matthews band & "hippie culture." 3. Maybe he just liked them?

I've noticed that too..some people will play every scenerio they can before admitting guilt..even Casey Anthony has supporters, maybe not on here but she does. Honestly the coincidences etc keep adding up more and more that this guy is not only HG's perp but most likely several girls went missing due to JM. He's not a shy, quiet, mentally challenged,scared man..He is an in your face, pushy, do it my way..I'm going to stare down and intimidate a woman on the beach when I'm being manhunted mentality type of guy...That takes a lot of nerve which comes from this being normal for him..

I am not a supporter of anyone, just like to give it thought and learn more about a POI or witness as I go along, before coming to a final opinion

So did LE go back for the clothes in the last search warrant? They had the pics of a different outfit and wanted to find those as opposed to what he had on during his trek in the mall?

That makes sense- I haven't figured out why he had blue checkered shirt on earlier at the Blue Light, then later had the solid shirt we've seen in the video. I keep wondering if the blue checkered shirt pics were taken a different night

It's really sad. At first I thought why didn't those girls approach JM and HG when they saw her wasted with JM helping hold her up. But then I thought about what I would do if I saw the creeper that was touching me all night walking with a girl who looked very intoxicated . I would prob think poor girl and shocked that someone would actually give him the time of day. I bet they wish they would have done something now and I can't imagine how heavy that must be weighing on their hearts! I pray that HG is found alive but IMO I don't think she is. I also think JM is guilty. IMO He's just waiting to see what they have against him or if they find her.

People have also asked how can she go from walking fine to barely standing up. I can understand that it is possible.

I was 21, bridesmaid and cheap liquor was served. I was wasted. After the wedding everyone was going to a casino but once I got out the car in the parking lot I became mean. I yelled at my boyfriend and kicked his car n I ran into some apt complex and from there I was blacking in and out. At one point I was walking down a busy street n remember thinking omg where am I and feeling scared. In a bridesmaid dress too. My bf couldn't find me and I wouldn't answer my phone. I ended up at a store and used a pay phone to call my sister. I had a phone but in my drunken state I guess I thought I didn't have one. As I'm waiting someone drove up to me n asked if I needed a ride but I yelled and cursed at them and they drove off (lol) and finally my sister showed up. I walked far and fast. I was angry and I don't know why. I blacked in and out. Once I stopped walking I was so trashed they had to help me in and out the car. I walked fine but once I stopped it was like I hit a wall.

I'm 30 now with 3 kids. We don't always make the best choices when we are young We always think that nothing bad will happen to us. But we are learning and growing so we will make mistakes! I'm praying for Hannah. I look at my girls and I can't imagine how her parents are feeling. I would prob have to be admitted to a crazy house! Prayers to her family!

any word if he had bruises or scratches or cuts or blisters - from digging to hide a body. i hate to say it, but we need to think about where he put her.

locals, if you were him, where would you have put her? i know it's awful to put yourself in his crocs, but we need to in order to come up with good places to search.

have they used sonar in any nearby lakes?

i think he will fess up eventually if they've got incriminating evidence to threaten him with

door girl said he was sweaty. either he threw on a new button down from his car before walking the mall or it's the camera just picking up the colors wrong. i think it's the camera

Just trying to catch up, and noticed that there are still a few who are on the fence about JM knowing HG prior to the night she went missing. Just in case you haven't read this article or missed this part of it, I think his own friend's description of JM's normal behavior should shed a little light on that discussion.

Just going off of this same post here... (first time posting in this thread but I've been doing my best to follow along)

Absolutely makes me cringe that he does this. As a 24 year old woman not too far removed from college, it makes my skin crawl. The sense of entitlement some men feel is disturbing. I had a guy do this (well, a few throughout my 4 years at school) and being drunk, I saw it as a sign of friendliness. He tried to take me out of a bar to go get some pizza. I fled. I'm SO sad for Hannah that in this case, it was anything but friendly. :frown:

I have always wondered if she typed in the "I'm lost" text at some point earlier in the evening and never hit send (perhaps in an inebriated state). And then at some point later she/someone else hit send either on purpose or accidentally.

I have tried my best to keep up with the threads but did miss the first one or two. Apologies if this has been discussed and rehashed over and over.
