Did you hear that single ring Ms Arias? ".....know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee." (Thank you John Donne, 1624.)

Amazing, Juan used this exact quote some hours later in his close today.

I canNOT handle Brian Silber. When I hear him talk, or rather shout and argue, I feel like ramming a hammer through a plate glass window. I always mute when he's on. Janie Winewhatshername too.

I do this for Holly Hughes too...sooooooo annoying I can't stand it....so mute it is! She is merely a repeater of good comments made by others much smarter than she is.

Did anyone just see JVM just kidnap some poor woman and not let her leave until she answered all of Jane's questions? That was obnoxious.

Do any of you remember her running down the street chasing after Cheney Mason during Casey's trial? I was so embarrassed for her

now that we are past the crucial points of the day & the jury has went home for the weekend..

I just wanted to let those of you who know my situation etc that right in the middle of nurmi's wrapping up his closing arguments that...

I got an email indicating i was accepted for a project that starts mid june thru end of july!!!

(ie i got a job whoo hooo!!!)

congratulations!

Donovan is tweeting for JA. That Friends & Family groups she talks about is the one Donovan runs

What would you want to see first if you were on jury?

I would want to review the police tapes, and Mimi/Darryl/Lisa tapes.

I would have a few questions 1st for fellow jurors.

1. How many jurors believe Travis owned a gun?
2. How many jurors believe Travis cut a rope in the bathroom?
3. Is there any proof of DV?
4. Is the defendant a big fat liar?

Then I'd have everyone take a vote.:jail:

What is the monster saying?

I would want to review absolutely NOTHING. I'd want to vote and go home.

What is there to review? I would be so sick of this case and I can't imagine needing or wanting to review one more darn second of it.

However, in reality, doing my job as a juror, I think I would want to organize the jury instructions on a white board and then list evidence and testimony by each pertinent instruction to illustrate, on paper, so to speak, how what we heard and saw proves each element (or doesn't..except it does!!), and how much weight to give various witnesses' testimony, etc., so that anyone who may be confused or wants to be certain, can see it in black and white.

They ONLY reason at that point to review anything would be if there is confusion or dissension or uncertainty about certain testimony or whether each element of first degree murder has been proven.

I wish the red-faced guy and Maureen were not on the jury. Those are the ones I think that have troubled some of us. But I feel confident right now.

This really was a landslide case. Incredible, incredible landslide.

ETA: Juan looked VERY relaxed after the jury went off to deliberate!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=SWtISPw4rjE

Geez, I can't believe you said it. My first question would be to ask 'who doesn't believe she isn't guilty of Murder 1".

Was the bullet recovered from Travis a hollow point?

Thanks...

If you were a juror, would you be more ticked that JA lied to you or that the DT did in their closing?

Jodi Arias ‏@Jodiannarias 27m Just the friendly FYI,:I am NOT profiting from my artwork: But it seems like everyone else is.

Ummm....then why is she selling it? Oh right, her mother is the one profiting. Got it.

Maybe her mom and Donovan are splitting the proceeds between them and not sharing w/ the murderer?

I never judge another case based on that one case.

It was an anomaly. Rarely do 12 people come together who are truly clueless and dismiss all the evidence they heard. 99% of jurors get it right day in and day out all across America.

I don't blame them one bit for going for the DP in the Anthony case. Duct taping a small child's nose and mouth and letting them suffocate is as cold blooded as it gets and it was certainly a death penalty case. Hell those 12 pinheads wouldn't even vote for aggravated manslaughter. They were too busy drinking the poisoned Kool-Aid.

If she doesn't get the DP it is like I have posted many times and the reasons will be she is a female, white, average looks and killed an adult MALE. There are plenty of injustices in our court system that reeks of gender biases. Females do not get the punishment they so richly deserve when a man would for the same like hideous crime. Its really shameful.

IMO

OceanBlueEyes, ITA. This is an excellent and succinct statement on the gender bias that exists in our legal system. Bravo

I was wondering about the elderly male juror. I don't know his age but if he is from a different generation he might not have liked the names Travis called Jodi. Most older men were brought up like gentlemen and might be offended by the language. I am not saying Travis was not a gentlemen - just a comment on the name calling.

However, I am glad the majority of the jury is made up of men. I believe most of these men will put themselves in Travis's place and be so thankful they never met or dated someone like Jodi. :noooo:

Some people have commented that men might have a hard time giving a woman the death penalty, but I think these jurors see the monster that killed Travis and will sentence her accordingly.

I am likely the age of that older gentleman and I am always offended by the words he used on the tape. However, he didn't mean that for anyone but the person he was having phone sex with. Period. And he didn't deserve to be slaughtered. I would vote for murder one because she is guilty. I would not sentence her to death.
