I wish I could find a link for the spot on KPHO 5 PHX news this evening that one of the anchors did with Fred Goldman (Ron Goldman's father, victim of OJ Simpson). KPHO has done a great job of keeping the sensationalism of the trial down and Mr. Goldman thanked KPHO for bringing the focus to the victims and their families. :tears:

I had to walk away after they picked the alternates out this aternoon, and go outside and decompress. Came in just to catch a glimpse of JVM and turned it off.

I don't understand the party atmosphere, call me dense but a young man was brutally slaughtered, justice has yet to be served. Can't they have the common decency to wait til AT LEAST AFTER the verdict? Does this just mean I'm getting "old" in my thinking at 52 or is there something terribly wrong with how the media is acting? IDK. :twocents:

There shouldn't be a party at the courthouse. JVM was ridiculous today! In court, she was eyeing Juror # 8...unreal.

Maybe, I shouldn't be blowing off steam here tonight. I'm so sad for Travis's friends and family. I can't imagine what they are going through. :cry: My heart breaks for them. I will fast and pray with them on Sunday.

I pray the jury gets it right and the family can finally grieve for their loved one, in peace!

I didn't listen to KN today, but heard he may have said something to the jurors like, "well, why didn't she just shoot him to death as soon as she got there?". The reason why is there were room-mates present, plus she had her PLAN. She wanted to catch Travis completely off-guard. You know, "Hey baby - just give me one more good time...Setting him up from the get-go. Travis had no idea what was about to happen to him. After all, he had been trying to "appease" her for a long time. He fell for the photo-op thing -
then she GOT HIM in a position where he couldn't defend himself.

The count is around 450 or so supporters but the same few people post over and over. Very weird. Seems like junior high cattiness with a killer twist - literally. They are bashing everyone from the judge to JM to the Hughes with banal sexual references and obscene language. A complete bash session. Terrible. I can't see how that kind of display is going to gain much support for donations, which they are requesting. Foolish people. Low on the humanity spectrum. I won't go there again.

They weren't roommates when Jodi was dating Bobby. IIRC, Bobby moved to Oregon, Jodi visited him and he was sharing a place with Matt.

But it still, imo, shows her lack of boundaries. Even if she was not dating Bobby anymore, it is still very bad manners to go visit him, and start sleeping with his roommate/boss. It is creepy.

Jodi did not tell Ryan she was going to be late or another excuse, because she not 100% certain she would follow through her plan to kill Travis yet.

I would imagine Jodi thought alot of her 1000 + mile journey, all the while having a .25 caliber gun with her.

That's very strange because when I posed that theory of Jodi being unsure in that other thread a few days ago, that got laughed at, too.

But still, my point is that TODAY, RIGHT NOW, DT is saying there was no premeditation and Jodi veered to see Travis because he asked her to. SO I'm still not sure why you're talking as if she were actually planning to kill him. I'd ask you to assume that the defense was right in this particular theory, but you're still reasoning as if she was premeditating. I won't be able to get you to see what I'm saying without you looking at it from the defense side. Please try that and reread what I've written in past posts.
