Yes, that is correct. I am sure if the perp was the boy's father he could easily ID him.

Yes, but I'm sure the child is traumatized at this point. Just find it strange there is not more info out there regarding the father.
MOO

Why? What info.?

I don't think there is any. It sounds like the father was involved in his son's life to a point, but I don't think that there was a continuing relationship with mother. I'm imagine LE has cleared him already.

I really don't see the father being involved with the death. I know in most cases, the first person looked at is the spouse/boyfriend/childs father, but in this case, I don't think so. JMO.

To add another opinion: Her part time job was in a restaurant. These small towns sometimes only have one restaurant, and many have regulars. Was there a customer who repeatedly searched her out to be their waitress? Was she stalked by a regular customer? Often times, waitresses flirt harmlessly with patrons in order to get a better tip. Was there one who took her flirting seriously?

Poor lady, she was a single mom, teacher, coach, and held another job (per the news). Very hardworking. I hope they have a POI.

picture of Allen Prue^^^

Allen Prue was an independent snow plow driver and a sub-contracted newspaper delivery person for the Caledonian-Record. He delivered newspapers to the Peacham, Groton area but did not service a route in the Goss Hollow area of Danville. He started with the paper in late January, 2012.
Police executed a search warrant at the the Prue residence, at 91 Old County Road in Waterford beginning at approximately 8 p.m. Tuesday night.

Around the same time Patricia Prue was being questioned at the state police barracks in St. Johnsbury.
She experienced a medical episode and was transported by ambulance to NVRH. She was listed in stable condition at 11 p.m. and returned to the barracks at approximately midnight. She entered the correctional facility at approximately 1 a.m.
Allen Prue was taken into custody around that time and was taken to the correctional facility.
Allen Prue completed his delivery route for the Caledonian Record on both Sunday and Monday nights. Route drivers reported, however, that the Prues arrived an hour late on Sunday night.
