I think that is Nancy Leung. She paid for court documents on 03/04/11.

ETA: Also wondering if you've ever noticed Richard Gabriel attending a hearing?

Yes, it is Nancy who arranged the meeting/interview at the A's home. I have not seen Richard at the hearings, but that is not to say he wasn't there.

I wonder if anyone asked them if they are aware of how many of those defense experts AND attorneys are no longer working for Casey Anthony?
Interesting you mention that...hasn't Jose said that even though the attorney's were leaving, thy would still be available for "consultative" purposes. I wonder if sending them off to MSM is part of their continuing services?

Hi Tulessa,

How are you these days? Solace:seeya:

Doing ok. Thanks friend for asking. :)

Seriously guys? Are you really surprised at this bit of news? We KNEW
This was going to happen. I honestly respect those that are choosing not to watch it, But I wouldn't miss it for anything. I want to see what the DT has up their sleeves. I'm going to use this as a learning experience. I may learn something, I may not. But it's gonna be worth it to me to see JB and CM try to spin that yarn and make it in to silk. Not gonna happen.

Edited cuz I can't type!!

BBM- ? Who reserved a field?

What am I going to do come trial...pray-and keep on praying-that justice will be served. As far as the As are concerned...I have no idea what money they received...truth isn't one of their virtues...but as far as not working...that's their doing. Sympathetic figures evoke sympathetic responses. Casey didn't deprive them of future employment, they did. Lost everything? They have a house, they have a car, they have their son. There are plenty of "victims" who are often left with a lot less. And anyone who has lost a child would most certainly want to have their child back...but, there's no amount of money in the world that will make that happen...nor will selling (and let's face it...that's what they did) that child to the highest bidder. Just not cool...IMVHO.

PS- I didn't watch the last 48 hours...haven't decided about this one.
I agree with your statement. Many have lost more and work to keep themselves fed and pay for their homes. I have a dim view of folks who can work and don't work.

What gets my goat (I know, Baaaa ) Is the A's could be helping with her defense if they were working.

Ditto! I want to see how far off they go!

Okay, as far as I know, no one here has a daughter who has killed her own daughter.

It is easy to say what one should do when it is someone else. I personally don't know how they are standing. She was three and they loved her and she is gone by their daughter's hand.

Sorry I am not that judgmental.

I don't wish the Death Penalty on my brother's murderer either. On the other hand, my wonderful hubby says he would gladly inject him. You truly never know until you stand in those shoes. BUT!! I am NO FAN of the A's. I think Justice for Caylee should come first.

Edited to add, I didn't mean to quote you Solace. Over look me. A lot of this brings sharp focus to what I will be dealing with in the up coming months. :(

Caylee did not live to see her 3rd birthday. Whether they work or not is not my issue. It's the making money off their murdered grandchild so that they can support her murderer that frushtrates me to the point I can't swallow. :maddening:

I would have felt better about the 20 grand if they had used it to have a proper burial for Caylee, instead of cremating her. :(

Ok, I understand that part - the money in the canteen. I wouldn't do it. But I don't think they are making thousands and thousands is my point.

They lost their granddaughter. I would not be standing today if that happened to me. I know it. It would send me into a tailspin. So I know that their pain is great.

And if someone posts something that I don't believe to be true as I have read today, I will say it and bring it to their attention. They have no idea what was in the envelopes or if Lee made any money or if Cindy and George made money off the donations at the Publix.

And until they do, they should not say it. That is my opinion on that.

George and Cindy are hated enough- do we really need to make up things that are not or may not be true. I dont think so.

I don't see what the problem is with them airing this so close to trial. If the jury is going to be potentially influenced, all they have to do is log in here for half an hour. Or pick up a newspaper, or listen to the buzz in the coffee shop, or go the internet. There's no way you can pick just one thing (48 hours) and say THAT shouldn't be allowed to air because it might make Casey look innocent.

I don't like to underestimate the intellect of any given person, their ability to reason or draw their own conclusions. I don't like to presume that a potential juror is so easily swayed by opinion that they need their movies editorialized and their books banned and their slanted TV shows withheld from them, because they might not be able to focus with their own brain power.

I say let it air. I'll definitely watch because I love watching Cindy make a fool of herself.

I bow to a great common sense post, Gnatcatcher. :takeabow:

If there is no forensic evidence, why are they fighting so hard to get the nonforensic nonevidence thrown out?

...but Solace...do they believe that? That Casey killed Caylee?

In their depositions they admitted to making thousands. No one is making that up. :waitasec:
