Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies are at the home of Bart and Krista Halderson in Windsor, WI. Their son, Chandler, reported them missing last week. Now, he’s been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilation of a corpse and hiding of a corpse.

Just spoke with a neighbor who did not want to be identified or speak on camera. They said law enforcement have been at this house around the clock for the last several days. Said the whole situation is jarring for this small neighborhood.

IMO KB is waiting to get confirmation on the DNR UID remains find before he says anything about Krista. He is very much a "let the facts do the talking" kind of guy and that's how he's operated in previous lower profile cases where he has had to address the media.
Hmmmm….the response you noted as number 2 above makes me wonder about the extent to which the girlfriend knew about the murders. It’s possible (and, honestly, my assumption is the following scenario is true) that she was completely in the dark about it and her family’s rural property made a convenient hiding spot for the Haldersons’ remains.
