The average cost of a recall to a food company is $10M in direct costs, in addition to brand damage and lost sales according to a joint industry study by the Food Marketing Institute and the Grocery Manufacturers Association.

That is enough at stake to investigate.
I'm thinking this
If it was random, it was meth related ( the perps, not the family )
If it was targeted To DC and JC, it was someone from Jennie O ( could have been long time ago )
If it was Jayme, it could be a million different scenarios

Edit: If Jennie O related, It is most likely not related to salmonella things people are posting. Someone else much closer would have thrown out that to LE and they would have investigated, not to mention it is such a stretch to even go there, IMO

Has anyone here considered the idea that perhaps one of the Closses was having an affair ? I ask because I had never once even entertained the idea until a few days ago when Fitzgerald mentioned that he thought this crime occured in a very short space of time. So then, why did LE go back almost a week later and take the mattresses from the home ? Surely there wouldn't have been enough time for a sexual assault to have occurred, along with 2 violent murders , if this all went down as quickly as Fitzgerald seems to believe that it did.
Just getting caught up reading for the day and will continue to read the rest of the pages. Never thought of this @Mountain_Kat. But it certainly brings a whole new perspective.

Taking her, if she was a witness, makes no sense to me though, as my big question remains the same...what on earth does one do with someone else’s teenager? If you mean to kill her, you do it right then, it would have taken one additional second. Having a teen on your hands would be a nightmare if you intended to blend right back into work, routine etc...and how would it ever be resolved? Also, someone from work could have found out easily enough there would be a child in the home. All of it adds up to zero, for me.

If she wasn't the target, to me the most logical reason for Jayme's abduction would be that she ran from the house, and the perp (possibly a 2nd perp stationed as a lookout) caught up with her outside. With the police on the way, it might have been faster (and quieter) to throw her into the trunk and take off. Sadly, if true, chances are they disposed of her shortly thereafter.

70-80 work weeks, My wife would question me.
With that being said, They worked at the same place, it would be pretty easy to verify hours worked, imo

One thoery a few threads back said what if DC told Jayme to run, and that's what she did. Now with 911 call made, quickest and best solution is to catch her, throw her in the car and take off.

The quickest solution is to shoot her just like the two adults. If they were only worried about her as a witness then she'd have been found dead in that house.

To a multibillion dollar company that is like forgetting to bring a coupon to the grocery store.

I wonder if Jayme had Discord on her computer? If so, she might have been catfished by a predator and there would be no written record. I believe that is the way the predator from New Zealand became involved with the child from Virginia.

I don't want to say the wrong thing here and get in trouble. I just have a wonky feeling about this one. Something feels off to me and the duration of this missing person's case, is troubling. Pure missing person cases. . . . . of course. They can and do, last for decades, or forever. This is different with the double murder of both parents. Several comparable cases spring to mind......again, don't want to step on toes or break rules. My hinky meter is going off though.....

Understand where you're coming from. I think many of us wonder but can't say. Guess just hang loose, but I have a feeling this won't have a quick solution.

I dont doubt the possibility that James worked a ton of hours. But I also dont doubt the possibility that Denise may have told family he was working when he wasnt. She seems like a true genuine family girl, on both sides. Not everyone is like that. Its not abnormal for a wife to go to every family function and the husband not want to go, so she tells them hes at work. It sounds better than "he didnt want to come". Denise was a people-pleaser. And I dont mean that rudely. It seems she went out of her way to make people happy. So I believe its possible the families really dont know the 100% truth. They know what they were told, and saw no reason to believe otherwise. moo.

However, I do believe that LE knows. THEY BETTER. I'm pretty sure it is of utmost importance that they would have investigated everywhere that everyone was that day.
