A lot of people nowadays dont socialize as much as they use to do.

Both parents probably worked long hours and then spent free time with Jayme and her school activities.

So I dont see anything abnormal if that was their routine. A lot of families stay to themselves.
True I suppose...Im not one who would want anyone in my business for and I don't trust easily. I guess I was looking at it from a small town view

O.K., popped up the satellite map, and here's my amateur guess as to where this Perp has headed. I speculate he is heading for the Canadian border. I think he would take 53 to 11 to up to 17 and then go deep in to the bush somewhere in between 105 and 72. Maybe even up past Lac Seul. In this manner he would be within traveling distance to Camp Robinson etc. for supplies, but way out of reach. The distance is 432 miles; an approx. 7hr 47 min drive via US-53N. That's my best guess.

Amateur opinion and speculation only.

i think the Miami 'sighting' is a red herring. it's great people are on alert and noticing details but getting from WI to FL in that time would've meant driving like 130 MPH the whole way, i think is the estimate i saw. plus i just don't see someone absconding with a child who has an AA out on them and allowing them to sit in the front seat with the window open. Especially when the SUV has tinted windows in the back. Even so far from WI that just seems like too risky of a move.
I agree. Did the Miami PD have record of the phone number or text, that could be tracked down? If so, a connection could be made.

How would they sneak Jayme in? Crossing Illegally? If the suspect was fleeing, there would be no way to hide Jayme.

I don't think she is going to be located tonight. How I wish I didn't feel that way. As for her being kept in some bunker type place or a deserted cabin in the woods, it happens. We looked everywhere like that for Holly Bobo. That's what kept our hope alive. It didn't turn out that way.
The cemetery being behind or near her home is of some interest, but the first home I lived in was on a farm that had its own cemetery up on a hill. So there's that.
Cemeteries do attract certain types of eccentrics. Strange individuals. They also attract people like me who love to do etchings, etc.
The decorations already being up for Halloween just puts the topping on this weird cake for me right now.
I have mine up and they had pumpkins etc adorning their yard. :(
Like I have always believed and said, I don't believe in satanic cults etc doing murders. It doesn't even come into play here.
These are just a collection of my almost-exhausted mind right now.
Sorry to ramble.
Taking a nap/thinking break,
Chi

Given the time of night that this occurred and the Father feeling comfortable enough to answer the door at that hour, it's my feeling that he may have known the shooter(s). Yes, as others have posted, Jayme I'm guessing was the target. I wonder if the Father came armed to the door? If he knew the person/people at the door and felt comfortable with them, then he probably didn't. If he did, then the bad guy(s)/gal(s) probably took the weapon from him after they shot him.

All speculation on the last part with him coming armed to the door, but sounds as though, based on the positioning of his body, he was either escorting someone out of the house or answering the door.

Going to take a break and return tomorrow to see what new info is here.

The Rhoden case?

I'm getting the vibes that the crime scene was not the norm, trying to put it delicately, I wouldn't be surprised if some horrible, horrible things happened in that home, it's so obvious to me that they know far more than they can say, I feel we only know a tiny slither of what really happened and how it happened. Absolutely horrendous.

Rhoden murders.

Hoping and praying that this young girl is found safe and sound.

That is a busy highway and likely no surveillance cameras around the property.

I wonder if there are establishments close by that do have surveillance cameras.

This is all just MOO. I just started following this case.
In my opinion, I am split between a couple scenarios:
1) It was an armed home invasion that was meant to be a robbery, but something went awry. Maybe mom and dad fought back more and/or were armed which prompted the perp to kill them both, but they were still averse to killing a child, having not intended to kill anyone, so they kidnapped her and got out of dodge. This is obviously very risky, and if this is what happened, IMO I sadly don't know that she is still alive if after the fact, they realized what had happened and how risky it would be for them to keep her alive.
2) That the target was Jayme all along. That perhaps someone had noticed her, been watching her and the family home, and figured they would slip into the house and abduct her while the parents slept but one or both parents actually woke up and confronted them, then were killed. If this is the case, I am holding out hope that poor Jayme is still alive though I don't want to even think what she is being put through.

Again this is all IMO. I just hope Jayme is found safe.

The Canadian border is fairly porous. I think checkpoints are only on major roads. If he knows the back roads from Minnesota, or from Wisconsin through the the Upper Peninsula of Michigan into Canada, it can be done.

MVHO.

There are only two ties on the back. The wood on the left front leg near the chair seat doesn't have a string. It appears to be damaged and has lost the color of the wood stain.

Looking at the video again I'm just not sure. But, the important thing is the chair was removed as evidence.
