A few feet. How far could a body be thrown onto the side of a road, from a pickup truck?
Not a car becuase I tend to believe that they would just roll onto the street.

I wonder if that would include the village of Almena? It is along that route.DEVELOPING: Authorities just told volunteers that this is a 14 mile long crime scene. From city of Barron all the way to Turtle Lake. #JaymeCloss

We can only talk about such things once law enforcement says a victim isn't a victim anymore but rather a suspect or person of interest, instead. That is how it works. In any case here on WS, if the missing person or a family member is found to be involved or guilty, how is that then handled here? Do we all just ignore it and still make no comment whatsoever, so to not be ‘victim or family of victim unfriendly’?
I cannot imagine LE allowing civilian searches in there if they thought they were going to find a body so close to the time she went missing. I am thinking it's something else. IMOHow far could a body be thrown onto the side of a road, from a pickup truck?

They’re looking for discarded items most likely. Clothing, phone, gun, things like that.I cannot imagine LE allowing civilian searches in there if they thought they were going to find a body so close to the time she went missing. I am thinking it's something else. IMO
This could be an important fact in my opinion. Getting home at 11:30 could mean that some of the shots were fired before?
according to what I have seen they are in groups of 7 and each group has an LEO with them.Could be indeed. I’ve just never seen civilians called to assist at an active “crime scene”.
This thread is moving quickly so I hope this isn’t a duplicate.

You know, I always try to think logically about a crime, forgetting that sometimes there just isn't any. Sometimes a store clerk gets shot for a pack of smokes.I think abducting Jayme had to have been easier done some other way.
I agree that the perp may have known and sought revenge on the family.
Otherwise - why this? Why kill two if an easier solution was at hand?
Could also mean one was killed by gunshot and one by another means. I wonder if that is why they called in another expert to do the autopsy.
The sheriff confirmed both parents died of gunshot wounds.Could also mean one was killed by gunshot and one by another means. I wonder if that is why they called in another expert to do the autopsy.

Is this normal? Public search for evidence or a body? This seems weird to me. And having to provide a valid ID.
Yes.Didn’t they both die from gunshot wounds? I thought that was the conclusion of the autopsy, unless that changed today and I missed it
We did not hear by the "same type weapon" though.
