I don't know what all I should share. Her sister is who I speak with and who came to me when Laura went missing. Things were shared privately and unless I see her posting it here, or it confirmed in MsM then I think it's best left unsaid.

What I know is that Laura had some problems, she was being pro-active in her problems and this Steve guy had her quit one of her problems to be with him. It was one of his "rules", and Laura took that as a good sign. She met him (as far as we know) off of collarspace aka collarme. which is an alt lifestyle website not geared towards professionals.

Laura has lived a transient lifestyle. She lived in her van and showered at the homes of people she parked the van at (and did her laundry). She often visited her mother or her sister. She was very close to both of them.

There are about 70 dark-haired women between 15 and 30 missing in the US between September 2013 and March 2014. Abigail Hernandez is the most likely so far. I didn't filter based on race.

I can confirm that the images Steve had uploaded 6 months ago of a blonde and a brunette were from a Dutch fetish website, they are NOT of the victims. But this makes me curious as to why he posted them? Does the brunette ladys' family know she left with Steve too, and did he post these photos to say "look! they are alive and living out this fantasy!" ? It appears to me that this is the case.

He killed Laura within 48 hours of having her there and in the hotel not his home.

I don't think these are accidental cases of bondage-gone-wrong. This guy's a straight-up serial killer. If the identified woman was killed last year in November and her body wasn't found until June of this year, he must of been keeping her body cold in that refrigerator investigators took out of his apartment.

Because this former police officer lived in Boca Raton, FL, 2.7 miles from the site of the 2007 unsolved Boca Raton Mall Murders, where bondage devices, including handcuffs, were used on the victims, including a child, I think "Mr. Handcuffs" should be investigated there, too.

The sheriff for that county said those murders were by a serial killer.

Rochester police became involved in the investigation into Simonson's disappearance June 10, after a months-long missing-person investigation by the Farmington Police Department led to the Microtel Inn and Suites, Sherwin said.

Motel employees recognized Simonson's photo and told officials she had stayed in a room with Zelich Nov. 2 and 3, according to Sherwin. Zelich checked out of the motel alone on Nov. 3, Sherwin said.

"Basically, after Nov. 2 she was never seen from or heard from again," Sherwin said.

I Bet LE is looking closely at him for many various murders. Would be wonderful if Racine Jane Doe could finally get her name back!

The Boca Raton murders seemed more money motivated, but I guess you never know.

I hope the situation of her children is looked at closely as well. I'm not totally convinced that they are in a safe environment. I just hope it is looked at and I hope I am wrong.
 
What I would like to know is, if she was killed in that hotel, how the hell didn't anyone know about it? Unless she died from some inconspicuous thing like poisoning, or an overdose? If it WAS an obvious death (ie; there was blood all over the room) why the hell wasn't this sicko caught sooner?!
 
I don't think Zelich is going to turn out to be the one who did the Boca Raton mall murders. He looks nothing like the sketch + the killer in that case was motivated by money/financial gain, while Zelich seems to be motivated by sexual sadism.

I do agree that he should be looked into in regards with the unidentified girl found in Racine County.

She was held captive for weeks, sexually assaulted and tortured repeatedly over that period of time.
Racine County is only 31 miles away from West Allis, although Rudolf says he lived only 7 - 10 miles away at the time.
Laura was mentally disabled, and Racine Doe is believed to have been disabled as well.
And, two years after Racine Doe was found, Zelich had to leave his job at the police department because a handcuffed, naked, terrified woman was found trying to escape from his home.

I don't know which possibility is scarier: that there was a serial killer (Steven Zelich) haunting that area of Wisconsin undetected for 15+ years ... or that there are two killers in the area who are capable of holding women captive, torturing them and then killing them. Tbh, I hope it's the former and that this can lead to a resolution in Racine Doe's case - and possibly those of other girls, too.

Interesting that Racine Doe had bad teeth.

How, exactly, were any of them mentally disabled? None of them look handicapped to me.. unless they're using that term to describe an emotional illness. Which, just because someone has depression or bipolar, doesn't mean they're "disabled."

Furthermore, how would they be able to tell if Racine Doe were mentally handicapped?
