Every time I come to this thread, I'm pissed that it has HIS name on it up front and not the names of his two victims. That's what we usually do when unknown people are identified.

Amen to that.

I "reported" carbuff's post.... so that mods change the name of the thread... as it should be! :grouphug:

No problem. I'm sick of looking at his name in the feed. Those girls were lovely and need to be remembered! :rose:

I've seen a lot of news reports in these parts about Jenny. What a precious girl.

Thanks, Kimster!

Oh, thank you so much, Kimster! That looks ever so much better. You're wonderful! *smooch*

Couple questions... Wasn't he questioned about Laura prior to her body being found? If so, by which city/county? I keep thinking there should at least be an obstruction charge against him at this point as well.

I think it was Farmington PD, wasn't it? Following up on the missing person report filed by Laura's family.

Uhhhh...okay. Just because someone said that you are a prositute or escort does not mean a hill of beans. And it should not matter anyway. She thought she was in danger...that is the important thing. No one helped her. Why? You know...

Your post landed below a post I made informing of a missing woman who answered Craig's list ad and the prostitutes have been vanishing off the streets of Indianapolis.

I'm uncertain if your post was in response to mine.

In case it was, if these groups of people are being targeted by SZ or anybody like him, they are part of the story. Also don't they need to be aware of the added danger - I mean, nine out of Indianapolis (I haven't studied the timing or cases closely).

Maybe this guy doesn't care who he kills and came up with the bondage sites idea as another angle.

Zelich met Gamez online in 2012 and later that same year at a Kenosha hotel, where they spent a few days together, Recknagel testified Zelich told him. It was a Sunday morning when Zelich and Gamez were having a “BDSM (bondage, dominance, sadism and masochism) session” that Zelich “ultimately ended her life,” put her in a suitcase and hid her at his West Allis apartment...

In conversations with investigators, Zelich said he and Simonson were having a Sunday morning “BDSM session” and that is when “he ended up taking her life,” Recknagel testified.

Both women killed on Sunday mornings? Is that significant, or a coincidence, or is he just blowing smoke?

It appears he's been into BDSM at least 14 years. I think it's definitely a fetish he has. I also think he enjoys the kill too.

Side note- Wasn't there another woman found in a suitcase earlier this year? It was in the woods and COD was strangulation? Did they ever find the killer or have a suspect?

Sadly, victims left in suitcases is a pretty common way to find murdered people.

Rallygrl ~ the incident w/Dahmer victim, Konerak Sinthasomphone, occurred in the jurisdiction of the Milwaukee P.D. (not West Allis)

Good golly, and I couldn't get out of my first speeding ticket when I was sixteen. It was true that I had to pee so badly that I was rushing home driving a little bit too fast. Too bad, so sad.

It's difficult to believe, when you hear some of these stories, what LE has overlooked - very hard to comprehend imo.

Oh, I don't doubt that - the part about the fetish which may be too gentle of a word. I'm just wondering if that's the only way he went about getting victims. The woman who came forward from almost becoming his victim in 2001, was picked up in a bar or a prostitute. It doesn't matter which one, but it's not uncommon for victims to decide NOT to press charges. There are several reasons for why they don't.

Not sure what case, or where, you're referring to regarding the side note.

I wasn't sure which one either, but I found it. Tara Rogers-Alicea. She was found in January after having went missing from Atlantic City. I was wondering if they'd had a suspect. I still don't see anything, but I haven't searched too much.

With the many ways of disposing a corpse, how often are strangled, nude females found off the road after being disposed in suitcases?
