It really does seem like the crowd would calm down on their own if the few around there didn't keep trying to push up the anger, there are agitators in the crowd, but for the most part it seems that people are just staying in case something does happen and they want to witness it if it does ..

I think if they made a move the situation could escalate out of control, they must have been told to hold the line and not react to anything verbal being thrown at them. I think that's probably the wisest course of action for now.
