I can't understand why Ron is sitting there smirking so much. What's so amusing? The divorce?

But it was interesting to see part of the Today show interview in which he seriously answered that Misty might be involved--surprising he said that.

I have noticed that Ron tends to smirk when he is angry. Nancy, a mere woman, is not agreeing with him and has actually said to Ron that she doesn't believe him. IMO, Ron is simmering.

I have to watch the repeat at 10....Wow...Just Wow...
Yes, I know. It was actually a very good show tonight. I had to drag my hubby kicking & screaming to watch it (he's not a Nancy fan), but even he was riveted to the screen!

NG: Mr. Cummings, for the first time I don't believe you. I think you do suspect your ex-wife's, or soon-to-be ex-wife's story, I think you don't want to discuss it in the midst of a divorce. Why? I don't know that yet, but I'll find out.

Ron said nothing.

NG said she'll find out...Im laughing here...

I'd guess he's not too happy now that his previous ally, Nancy, is questioning him. MOO

The public notoriety is stressful but it is stress that can drive you together and to spend time at home. In this case they are going stir crazy because they are home, cannot go out so much BUT there is a lack of trust and honesty so they are each looking at each other funny, no true lovey dovey AND any minor argument from being together TOO much sparks into a major fight over her lies.

The honeymoon is over and the searches and new LE investigation created crisis over crisis. Ron may have used divorce as a threat to further pressure Misty and, she said fine because she wants to get away from the pressure and keep her silence/lies.

My .2c
I think you hit the nail on the head, cyberborg. Well said!

Well, now if Nancy will just believe that Misty is covering Ron's butt, she may win back my approval.................

It kind of bothers me that shows have turned a missing child into a tabloid gossip fest. The two getting a divorce is not really suprising since they fought like cats and dogs before Haleigh even went missing. Having Ron on the show and answering guest questions seems so tacky, because he didn't really say anything. He's always hinted around that he might not believe Misty totally or that he had anger towards her, so Nancy not believing him doesn't mean much. There's nothing new except for how the divorce and Misty's new benefactor might affect Misty's future talking to police, and they didn't address that fact.

I don't believe for one moment that Nancy's hard questions to Ron, and saying she didn't believe him, was anything more than pandering to what she's read about her show here, and elsewhere. Not for one moment do I believe anything has changed between her and the Cummings family. In my opinion she's still as far up their butt as ever and it was all for show - who knows, maybe for OUR benefit. I believe many of them read here.

Only my opinion.

Actually, I don't think it's Miz Nancy's business why they're getting a divorce, and it would not have surprised me if he had said that. But considering all that has happened over these 8 months, it's not a shock to me. It breaks up many couples who have been married many years. One can only imagine the stress and strain of living with g/ma, dealing with the media and LE, the searches and still no Haleigh... it was a miracle it lasted this long.

same oh same oh, blah blah blah, mumble mumble, yes miss nancy, no miss nancy, I don't know miss nancy. I wonder, do they get any money for being on her show. Anyone know who the female was sitting next to RC in the begining of the show?

She's the story producer working for Nancy's show, Marlana Schiavo.

Good, I'm not alone - I too noticed the smirking and it was annoying me. Thanks for the Today Show update, truthsleuth, very interesting that he would admit that!
We don't know everything about Ron and his past romances, outside of him picking younger women (girls) and how he hasn't married anyone of them who bore his child. But I wonder, are we going to hear some bad mouthing of Misty as he did when he was going after custody from Crystal?
I think with this divorce news, we could be on the road now to some real "Bombshells." Please, please! The truth needs to come out!

Well, I realized that she was way too old for Ron, so there appears to be no danger to her on that end.
