It bothers me too that Lyndsey is mad at Misty and does not want her to see her kids but Tommy tells her to let them. Tommy wants to keep Misty happy.

On one tape Lindsy is blowing kisses to Misty and mouthing the words, "I love you," and Tommy tells her to stop waving at Misty, and stop talking to her. Then, he's the one that's telling Lindsy to let Misty see the kids. He sold the red truck his dad paid him $500 for, then he steals his dads pain meds. Now he's telling Lindsy, to just give Hank the $100 he borrowed, that he doesn't have to pay it back. I don't think you can use logic to explain how these people think. Look at Misty's behavior toward her entire family. Live with em, have em arrested, take out restraining orders, have the orders rescinded. She says she has told LE everything she knows, and she doesn't know anything, and they just need to move on! Then she says Joe O did it. I'm sure she has made Ronald very proud of the way she can lie to LE!

The detectives told Lyndsey if she let the kids be around Hank and Lisa they were going to take the kids away from her.

The detectives told Lyndsey they were going to wrap this up in the next couple of weeks.

Do you have any idea as to WHEN this statement was made so I can start counting down as to when the next couple of weeks will be up? JMO

First audio:

In this audio they talk about Tommy's hair, he looks bald and Lindsey going to hang out with her friend. Tommy said he rather have his parents watch the kids, Lindsey says she trust her friend to watch them. Tommy says that nobody better be spanking his kids. He says he trust Lindsey going out.
Lindsey mentioned that her friend just got arrested that week but that she didn't know why they arrested her. It was an old warrant and that they took her somewhere else before the jail to talk to her about a Jerry. They booked her then let her go home on a $200. 00 bond.

Tommy ask Lindsey if she is doing alright and she says she is lonely and misses Tommy holding her. She says her house is so clean, it's easy to keep clean.

Tommy claims he will be going back to work when he gets out, he doesn't want to collect unemployment. He said that was his problem, not working. Lindsey says, no he still had the problem when he was working.

Lindsey talks about house loose her wedding ring is, Tommy is glad she was able to get it back. (Sounds as if it was pawned?) She tells him how she is getting smaller and tighter. Weight is around 133 lbs.

They talk about his food. Tommy ask about the dog, Lindsey tells him the dog ate one of the kids happy meals and he took the toilet paper off the roll. Lindsey said she put the dog in time out.

Lindsey makes a comment she didn't want any animals, that she is going to ship him to Massachusetts in a box. Tommy says he will get another and she said she'll ship him to.

Tommy mentions that Misty goes to court tomorrow..I assume it was the April 6th court date? Because they all had court on March 31st.

He later says that he had court today, the day of this conversation and that his dad had court tomorrow? In the article at the link it says the audios are from March.

Tommy said his lawyer at first didn't want to be his lawyer for some reason, but now he want to represent him. (I wonder what happen that the lawyer had a change of heart? If a lawyer is appointed as a PD do they have to take the case or can they refuse it?)

Tommy says he will not be touching pills again...Lindsey says he will end up losing his family if he does mess up again, that this is his "ONLY" chance.

Lindsey talks about spending all her money..she got 3pairs of thongs, fire truck and other for the kids. A $90.00 comforter and she lent Hank sr. $100.00 for his tags until Friday. Tommy said just give it to him, Lindsay says no, I am lending it to him because he owes them money to. She said don't mess with her money. ( I wonder if this is her tax money?)

Hmm...Lindsey mentions that she threw Tommy's and Timmy's work boots away. Tommy ask why they were still good and she said they were old. Hmm.

Tommy tells Lindsey he needs her to read the long two page letter and she needs to do what it says. He claims it's funny. Hmm..Lindsey said she read the first few sentences and it has to do with Jesus, it's to long and she really doesn't want to read it. Tommy says, read it and send it to Tim. This is a letter someone sent to Tommy the way it sounds and he sent it or had it sent to Lindsey for her to read and send to Timmy.

So, Tommy trusts Lindsey to go out...permission granted. What about her trust in him? I'm sure she trusted him to keep his promises to straighten up & do right by his family, & look @ where he is. Does he really expect to retain his head of the household status, while serving years in jail? Does he really think he's still the boss? I'm glad she threw those stinking boots away & agree with BlueSky about the symbolism.

After listening to these recordings, I get the feeling that Lindsey is working with LE behind his back and telling them things she knows. She is starting to put the law down on his family with cash etc. and is cutting them off, her friends can babysit instead of his parents. Her house is so easy to clean now. Loves it. I also get the feeling she is taunting him with her new singlehood, her new clothes, losing weight, going out, making friends, loves her new house, wants to stay in her new location, has a "friend" to look at her van so his dad won't have to. I think she is going to give him the boot, knowing he will be doing some time in prison. She nags his physical appearance and behaviors alot too. I don't think she lurves him much anymore.
Oh, and the 2 page letter from the church..I think Tommy is hoping she will find religion with him to keep them together (i think he knows she is withdrawing). She refuses to read it. He desperately wants her to and gets upset.

I am getting that same feeling. I think she is waking up to what the real problem is and it is Tommy and his family.

I think that Lindsey realizes that Tommy & Timmy aren't gonna have any use for 'work' boots-for a long time.

Getting rid of the work boots of Toms and Tims really stinks. Why was that brought up on a recorded call? Could she have really turned them over to the police? We know she turned over alot of the stolen stuff from the breakins.

The letter from the church group in Tenn. has bothered me from day one. He has talked about it so much and now that he wants it sent to Tim really it makes me think it is an important clue.

He doesn't really talk about jesus or a conversion or anything just how important this letter is. I hope the message in it dawns on Lyndsey and she tells LE.

Early march is my understanding, so another lie by someone else.

If someone got beat by this group then boots might be good evidence.

or shot or raped, or carried to a muddy swamp. all kinds of evidence could be on the bottoms of boots.

Despite agreeing with him about his innocence, it's clear as day that she isn't sure. I think she knows something may have happened he was involved with to trigger a retaliation. (along with Ron, Timmy?, Misty?) Maybe just Ron and Tommy? I do believe Misty knows what it was though.

I really wonder now if Lyndsey was trying to get Tom to say why that letter was important by pretending she had not read it.

In the second audio they talk about the BE. Lindsey mentioned that 4 days after Tommy went to jail Lindsey found the second DS. Tommy claims he was there, but he didn't do it. She said he contributed, he agrees. She said Chelsea and Tim kept their mouth shut about it as well, she is pist that she didn't know about it. (Why and how would Chelsea and Timmy know about it before Lindsey? This I find very interesting...how can they know about it and they don't even live in the same state?)[/B]
Tommy tells her she can be mean and she says when he gives her a reason, like when he runs off anybody. He ask her to repeat what she said and Lindsey talks about Tommy running off With anybody..people..girls. She then says never mind.

Tommy talks about how he was so out of it the day he got arrested and Lindsey tells him he better never get hurt because all he will get is Tylenol and he can suffer. He said he's not. (Don't they all say that..then they go back). Lindsey says she has had teeth pulled, had babies and never had to take anything for pain. She asked him about smoking, he said he wishes he would of just done that instead of taking to the pills. That he had been smoking weed since he was 14yrs old? Lindsey tells him she believes that he will not go back to the pills since he has been in jail for so long.

Tommy tells Lindsey she better put money on the phone account, he said he will call LP(?) tonight (that night).

Lindsey tells Tommy that Ronald has another girlfriend. Tommy tells Lindsey that Ron said that if he had $35,000 he could get Haleigh back. That if Ron brought Larry to the Mexicans he could get Haleigh back. Lindsey said she also heard the conversation and that she will testify to what she heard.

Tommy said Misty might know about it to because Misty was right there with Ronald when he said it. Tommy called him a pus @ punk that probaly knows where his daughter is and he dosen't know why Ronald would talk that chit about him for.

Tommy said he doesn't want to do what they want him to do, I assume it has to do with blaming Joe.

Lindsey also said that she told LE a new thing...(I wonder what that new thing is?)

Tommy feels it's all drug related because why would Ronald say that stuff about the money and Larry if it were not true? Lindsey feels that the kids should of never been with Ronald, they should of been with their mother. Tommy says Ronald is a "no count dad"..piece of chit. He is shaking he is so mad that Ron would say what ever he said. (Sounds as if Ron is talking behind bars..maybe this is why we are not hearing anything from him. But it sounds like Misty and Ron are following a script of pointing the finger at Joe. Thing is, LE has questioned Joe and have said that Joe has been cleared.)

I think Ron really was at work, and Misty was either gone or too stoned to wake up. I don't think any of these players did it. BUT, they did something that caused it to happen, which they have chosen not to talk about. It must be bad.

Right, she doesn't know what those guys were up to when she was at work that night and there is no way in heck she believes misty's version of the evening so you know just because Tom went to bed with her she is still wondering about what went on while she was gone.

  • #117
Chelsea was also adamant that Timmy was in bed with her that night.

I think Tommy was involved. I didn't listen, but I read Elle's updates. Doesn't Tommy seem desperate to you? That's the 2nd time that he has told Misty to keep his name out of her mouth. The 1st time, he made a statement about how Misty thought she was helping him, but she needed to keep his name out of her mouth. That made absolutely no sense, because we didn't get the whole tape. I kept wondering how her ratting out his burglaries was trying to help him. She must have said something else without realizing the implications. It must have been big, because he didn't even act that mad after the molestation allegations.
Maybe when Misty ratted out the burglaries, she mentioned that part of his modus operandi, was propping back doors open with a brick. That could've made Tommy freak because that info would put his signature all over the propped trailer door.

I'm not really well versed on all the details of the case, was Joe staying with Tommy or Timmy? Thanks.

I get the same feeling! Sometimes getting away from the influence of someone in your life makes you realize just what you were really missing. I'm sure she IS enjoying living on her own with no live-in inlaws. I think Simon said these tapes are from early March like Papa said so I wonder who told her they were wrapping things up?
