JB---out of state investigator
Judge---must use in-state investigator, local

In state invesitgator. JB and Mr Mason have investigators you use and rates by JAC. For out of state get one local in the area to eliminate travel costs

JB we will be as frugal as can be on the investigative process

Holy Cow, His honor made powerful statements in regards to Casey if she were found guilty. The harshest sentences only being LWOP and Death Penalty! Was so quiet in the court after that!

Judge P saying the mitigation expert's funding could actually be cut, etc..... that's pretty shocking. Weird that the defense faces such constraints regarding funding and use of experts while the prosecution I guess doesn't have to meet the same standard? Or does it, how does that work?

Though I can understand going over all the billing with a fine tooth comb, of course, that has to be done.

JB how to ask JAC for money for depostitions. JAC every request for depo needs to be asked for specifically . JAC would court consider cap for spending for investigator.

JAC asking for spending cap on the investigators! 30-50 hours then will have to come back and ask for more!

omg.....did Baez just attempt to bring up TES??? Or did I misinterpret that???

JAC asking to establish spending cap for PI, JP says suggest one, JAC saying 30-50 hours, JP says that won't work with this case, JB agrees.
JB gets into TES records, JP says lets sticke with this. Asks him to estimate hours for PI

Oh sheesh, here comes JB trying to squeeze the Judge with the TES reords again and JP said no lets just stick with the investigators!

JB estimates 100 hours for out of state PI costs, bringing up TES records again.

Baez brings up TES ...AGAIN...JP tells him to stick with the question which was how many investigative hours are you requesting. Baez is asking for 100 hours...Baez is speaking again about TES

JB bringin up TES records, JP says stay focused on this. JB says just a moment asking how many out of state hours for investigation. Saying TES records they don't have and many searchers came from out of state. A good starting point would be 100 hours. He does not consider out of state and JB has 480 for in state investigation
