Holy Cow, His honor made powerful statements in regards to Casey if she were found guilty. The harshest sentences only being LWOP and Death Penalty! Was so quiet in the court after that!

I was hoping the camera would have panned to Casey's face, another wake up call.

TES - gimme a flippin' break.

Flog another horse Baez.

Oh sheesh, here comes JB trying to squeeze the Judge with the TES reords again and JP said no lets just stick with the investigators!

I DID hear that!!! LOLOL

:thud:

He just can't let it go. Hint to Baez: when things are going your way, STHU and take it.

He's bringing up TES again. The judge already told him to stick with the question.
100 hours for out of state investigators (wonder if they'll come to my door, lol). 480 for in state witnesses, all this per JB.

JB 250 on witness list. JP asks about interview, JB says talks first to witness and research on witness on them if we do not depose. JP says JB lost him.

JP asks what in-state hours for PI will be . JB responds that 250 witnesses on witness list, estimating 3 hrs to interview each, JP says what do you mean interview them? JP says you lost me, I'm lost too frankly.

I don't even know what to type JB rambling about investigate each and every witness.

Actually, after thinking more about this, if he did lie to Nancy, his testamony would be worthless now, wouldn't it? Who would believe anything he said?
After the Spector trial, his reputation is already tarnished.

I'm surprised none of you noticed (or at least posted about) that little 'thing' KC did with the officer who sat with her. KC giggled and wrote on paper to her ... she wrote something back, KC wrote .. she wrote, then KC stopped smiling and became VERY serious. GOOD! Maybe this officer told her to STOP the giggling and straighten up!

Did you guys observe that?

Judge P saying the mitigation expert's funding could actually be cut, etc..... that's pretty shocking. Weird that the defense faces such constraints regarding funding and use of experts while the prosecution I guess doesn't have to meet the same standard? Or does it, how does that work?

Though I can understand going over all the billing with a fine tooth comb, of course, that has to be done.

The Prosecution is being paid for their services by the state and they too have certain guidelines to follow. The defense is basically on a begging mission AFAIC. I would like a penny by penny accounting of where the 275,000.00 went.

Typing and listening is hard today for some reason, I'm sorry for typos and fragmented sentences and mistakes. Sorry.

I did -- think it was over the magistrate and possibly not being able to stay on...kc wasn't happy about that prospect......she nodded when jb mentioned their "close" relationship...

JP caps in state PI costs at 300 hours, will have to justify it if they need more.

JP capping at 300 hours. Afterwards, Baez will need to come back and 'splain why he would need more. Justify how you are spending taxpayer $.

Judge limiting this 300 hours, Defense may come back to motion for more but will have to justify it. "We're talking about taxpayer dollars."
