Yes, AL said 11 more death penalty motions to be heard. She was given 7 days to provide the state with a list of them. The state was given 10 days to respond.

It was, Judge Perry thought they had about 8 -12 death penalty motions left and Lyon said they had 11.

I'm impressed with JP. This is the first time I've gotten to see him in action and I think the defense was right on in getting Strickland recused, sadly I think they are rethinking their decision though

1. Betcha JB is kicking himself for wanting another judge!

Yes!! Judge Perry has just redeemed himself in my eyes by his closing statement of "Please read your trial order with deadlines. If you knew about something, you don't have a very, very, very good reason for not meeting those deadlines, you might be left out in the cold, and that's for both sides."

I didn't like JP allowing that witness to testify, regardless of the outcome, since the defense did not follow proper procedure and give the state enough notice for an informed rebuttal. (Though IMHO, JA was great in his rebuttal!)

Exactly, BeanE. They try so hard not to humanize Caylee. They already have such a mountain to climb, trying to defend Casey. They need all the help they can get. So they avoid reminding people of what a beautiful, adorable little girl Caylee was.

Too bad for the defense that JA and the state WILL call her by name during the trial and will remind the jury that the "Last face she saw before her death was her mothers...It was stated by everyone who knew Caylee that she was above average in the intelligence area. I wonder if she knew what was happening to her? I wonder if she wondered WHAT she had done to make her mommy mad?"

Good luck trying to make it about poor KC. Even though KC has moved on to her "bella vita", we have not and will not until justice is served.

again, why oh why does she wipe her tears with her finger---then use the tissue to wipe the tear away with her tissue....I have never seen that done before----I have never done that before---:waitasec:
