I guess Tommy and Misty forgot their fear of Joe during their early days in jail when they would have done anything to get out.
Were they not scared then?

I think they were afraid what he would do to their family.........not to them since they were locked up.
IMO
is this how he kept Tommy scared? myspace pictures?
Maybe. But I have to wonder why Misty ventured to TN to spend ten days in the same state with Joe. I wouldn't have gone anywhere near him, were I so traumatized. Something about this Joe did it scenario really bugs me. :waitasec:
I watched while I was having dinner and appreciate the commentary. I'm not buying the "fear factor" as a reason to deliberately refrain from going to LE with any information that ToC and/or Misty had about HaLeigh's disappearance/death.
Looks like NG is having Haleigh on tonight do we have a thread ?
It reminds me of other crimes I have read about where people knew a horrible crime had been committed but they told no one for a very long time because they had been threatened if they did..... harm would come to them or their families.
To have the ability to kill a defenseless child means he is capable of anything imo.

I just can't get over Tommy saying on tape:
"He can't hurt nobody"
"He can't get to none of us"
If it was JO....He is out and about...so why no more fear? JO isn't locked up or anything.
I just don't know if I'm buying that story either considering the fact that Tommy also implied that Misty was covering for Ron. So which is it?
JVM: what has Joe done in the past to make his so scary?
Werter's answers: guns, fights, prides himself on being a tough guy

Because at that time all three had made a family pact.
She couldn't go to TN to granny Flora's and all of a sudden avoid JO like poison ivy when he had just been to Florida to visit her. She and JO kept up the sham like nothing was out of kilter. They had to give the appearance that everything was just fine in the family.

Anyone know what event or time frame JW referred to re Misty never accusing ToC
- said something similar to: that was before...??
