One, I'm surprised JB parted with his money. Seeing as he has so little left and that whopping salary of $3 bucks an hour, I'm wondering how much change he had to dig out of his couch for this one, LOL. Then again, there's that saying, "a fool and his money are soon parted." Here's hoping that's only the first of many checks he has to write to the state!

Also, like ANYONE would want to accept three hundred pages by fax!!!! OMG are you kidding me? Ever heard of pdfs, attachments, and email, Mason? Am I wrong here or is not normal to fax three hundred pages to anyone these days? Wow this defense team is full of technological dinosaurs. Reminds me of when they said their experts couldn't access stuff on the computer or something like that. Good grief, how do they function?

Wait, so he whined like heck in the motion but then paid the fine?!?!?!!

Did he just want to whine for moment and not have to face this in court tomorrow? I am very confused. What was the point of filing that motion if he was going to pay the fine anyway? Is he expecting a refund check? Or is the check just proof he's going to pay if he needs to, like it hasn't be cashed yet, just turned over pending the outcome of the hearing tomorrow?

And wow he got the money fast, too. I was just kidding about the pole in Casey's cell, but now I'm starting to wonder...

You know, my husband calls me obsessed about this case. I told him it's not my fault. Just when I think I've lost interest, the defense keeps reeling me back in!

YOU are obsessed with this case! LOL - aren't we all? :rocker:
I think if he hadn't paid the fine, the motion rebutting the sanctions would have been thrown out and not heard at all, and Baez would have been up for further new sanctions for non-payment and I don't believe Baez wants that :worms: opened up when it was a relatively light amount of fine as fines go. The next time I think it would have been much much worse.
And I think CM was the enforcer on the payment.
:slap:

Just a thought....if JB sent a check to the courts, do ya think it might bounce? LOL

After all, he has had money problems in the past!

To use one of Baez's words - that thought is too "juicy" to even think about.:great:
Double dare ya Baez!

O/T for this thread but I"m not sure where else to ask it since it pertains to JB et al being non-compliant with stuff....but where are the DNA reports that are due today?

We have to wait until 4:59 pm this afternoon, defense's normal filing time, unless "thwarted" by traffic that is.

Easy there Soju, we don't know if they have been filed yet, and it takes a few hours for Muzikman :rocker: to grab and post them in docstop when they are.

Oh, right. My bad. Let's hope JB doesn't have a LOL (lack of luck) while driving it there.

Oh no - not "your bad" - I'm sure we already have the Muzikman alert out and all are anxiously waiting, pacing and refreshing our pages.

We are so lucky to have him.:woohoo:

I second that!! MM ROCKS! I have asked several times how to donate to the MM motions fund and have evidently missed the replies. Would someone please direct me to the proper place. TIA

So what were those three hundred or so pages that Cheney wrote about ... claimed the clerk of the court office would not accept them faxed. Cheney (assistant to the undersigned) Cheney hisself :floorlaugh: wrote he hand delivered the "package" to the court clerk the next morning.

I'm certainly not trying to give Cheney more credit than he deserves (in my very humble opinion is lower than pond scum), but we don't know if these three hundred pages are what HHJP demanded and ordered. Oh, and all of a sudden out of the sky these expert reports appear .... :waitasec: :hand:

I thought we had seen those 300 pages. Didn't they largely comprise of the experts' CV's I remember Henry Lee's was around 85 pages long, :floorlaugh: Yeh some poor paralegal had to photo copy/scan all of Henry's resume, even though it had apparently been decided Henry and others would not be featuring in the trial. :waitasec: Shhh don't tell the prosecution cos they're trying to depose those folks. Wasn't this offering and further non-compliance what essentially made Ashton file his motion for sanctions.

Friday's hearing should be a doozy but in some ways it needs to be a watershed. Mason and Baez need to get in line or suffer some meaningful consequences.

the "300 pages" are the CVs

there is a hearing tomorrow? Forgive me, but please tell me.

The reports he is giving are CVs what about the substance of the expert's testimony. did he give that.

Solace, I read somewhere (probly here) that the spankin--er, hearing tomorrow is at 2 p.m.

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh: He could have been talking right to JB! Attorneys who like to get on TV and talk about how innocent their clients are! LMAO:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

But, I agree with southside - no way JB would take heed! His ego is his biggest roadblock - then his client. How sad is that!
...and MN is the Chief's attorney. OY!

Interesting to watch...good show of the "other side".
