Sounds so much like the additional hours for investigation excuse. We need more time we are still working with our experts on additional stuff.

IMO the Defense strategy is to do everything to get the trial pushed back ... at any cost.

And remember for every whacko that the defense can drudge up to make claims about any of the witnesses the State has to investigate. They in turn do their investigation and turn things over to the defense. Then the defense claims it needs more investigative hours to investigate the states investigation. MADNESS!!!!!!

I'm truly beginning to think that the defenses strategy to keep Casey innocent is to make sure she never stands trial! It's all about delay delay delay.

My god I'm amazed at how little work JB has done since he got this case. This is 2011 and Caylee's remains were discovered in late 2008!! And we're less than 15 weeks away from trial. Unfreakinbelievable.

That was my reaction! I bet the secret is that they have to go back to the drawing board after the info they gave out what Dr. Spitz was going to rebut blew up in their faces! Oops, we need to start over, that skull placement argument isn't going to work! I wouldn't be surprised.

I mean what the heck other reason would have to be under seal? How ridiculous!

JB wants to meet with Dr. Reichs and Dr. Rodriguez "prior to them rendering their opinions as they may have additional opinions after review of additional material". Sounds like he wants to hear what they have to say before he lets them write a report. What are the odds that both Dr. Reichs and Dr. Rodriguezs reports will become MOOT shortly after he meets with them?

He would be demolished in court if he tried to say that he did not document his findings at the time and was testifying based on memory... puhleeze. Can you say Malpractice?
There is so much detail that NO one could remember it, of course he reported - why that report has been withheld is down to Baez as usual.

Mr Mason's office was reported by the SA as having said that the judical deadlines mean nothing and seems that was 100% correct. Mr Mason also said that the defense wasn't required to hand over discovery. Seems that was correct too. Mr Mason said he would walk KC out of the courthouse, arm in arm, a free woman. That seems more probable all the time. She may just get time served. Just like the cheque case. :maddening:

45 additional days? An unique opportunity? Could it be more vague? No way HHJP grants this! So the Defense lost Lee and can't seem to find anyone who will agree that Caylee's remains were dumped after ICA was arrested? HHJP warned tham to play the cards they were dealt and they just keep sticking those cards up their sleeve and requesting the state to deal them some more and from new decks. There is no new opportunity in this case. Just more BS. This is no longer a funny circus. The trial starts in less than 4 months and now JB wants to leave town to go in search of some other unicorn that will somehow explain away the trunk and the 30 days and the lying, hiding from family, stealing, playing house and partying? Is he traveling to Denmark? Surely the DNA touch results are back by now? All of the above is JMO. But I still think JB is leaving town in February to go "fish" for some more crud and bottom dwellers.

The Defense's case is crumbling into dust around JB's feet and he doesn't seem to realize it yet.

Someone needs to sit him down (perhaps his co counsels, perhaps his investigators, just anybody) and explain things in short sentences and simple words to make sure he grasps what they are saying. He has to make KC understand the consequences of going to trial. IMO, He is doing his own client an injustice at this point.
