Well in the two days he has been rambling on with this he has

A. pretty much admitted in open court that not only was his client Lying about everything she said, but everyone knew she was lying about all of this stuff, including the nanny. (You know the lies he regurgitated back out to the public and the court as true fact every day back then... Nevermind when YM "knew" she was lying JB, when exactly did you know?)

B. Got several witnesses to testify under oath, and pretty much openly admitted himself, that he was shuttling contraband letters back and forth between the inmate and her family. (gee isn't that a felony JB?)

C. Managed to get sworn testimony from pretty much everyone involved that they all, every single one of them, thought that JB was (to quote HHJP) "not up to snuff" from early on in the investigation. LE, Parents, witnesses, bystanders, etc.

D. Proved this further by getting witnesses such as LE and the Defendants family to testify how he would blow them off, refuse phone calls, not call them back etc.

I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings! Maybe he'll call DC to the stand so he can grill him about how "JB told him to move or dispose of the body, and the fact that he didn't indicates that he is an agent of the state".

IMO this whole family has been built like a house of cards.It reminds me of the 50's and 60's and middle class families that had to keep up with "The Jones". Every single one of them seems to have the need to pretend who they really are not. By now they have lost all concept of family and accountability. Lee just might be tired enough of the games that he possibly can survive this with some normalcy.

Not only will this be a lonnngggggg trial, but the appeals process will be even longer. I see three choices for us all to make it through til the end...

1. Mind your manners and follow TOS...lol
2. Buy stock in popcorn, chips, coffee and whatever else you like to drink and munch on. Stock up at the grocery store, supplies you know...
3. Put in alot of overtime if you work so you have the hours to stay home, follow the case and hire someone to do your laundry and not so favorite chores.

After sitting for two days straight, I'm getting stiff.

I think we also need some health warnings -

1. Make sure to get up and move around the chair every 30 minutes or so to keep circulation going.
2. Do take time to get to the john before your kidneys back up.
3. Do stretch exercises by touching your toes every chance you get to ease the tension in your back and neck.
4. Blink your eyes between questions to keep them from drying out.

You would think the defense would have clothes ready for her whether they came from CA or not. Being the vain type, IMO, I wonder what she thinks of having to wear a sweater two days in a row and if it gives her any indication of what her "team" really thinks of her. If I were CA, that alone would be a red flag for me...

She didn't have to wear the same sweater two days in a row. When CA & GA showed up, Michelle M. came in with a hanger and a blouse and jacket. ICA chose to ignore the blouse and must have still had the sweater. It is very cold in the courtroom.

Someone has to investigate this. If he was feeding LE a bunch of lies, knowingly, he has to be disbarred this is unbelievable.

Honestly, I doubt that they will be able to do much with his repeating of KC's lies as truth. Ethically it is horrible and truly stupid behavior that a good attorney would not do. (note how careful most are on proclaiming the guilt or innocence of their client. They choose their words very carefully). This one is a shady grey area in terms of punishing JB. But it is spectacularly insane to then watch him basing his motions testimony and witness questioning around how big of a liar his client is. As a defense tactic it seems to rank up there with "honest I my client couldn't have shot her outside the restaurant. He had just dropped his gun inside that restaurant" (although granted that one did work).

Now the whole smuggling letters and who knows what else through jail security. That one is sorta kinda huge. In a lot of ways.

I really wish someone could just mail the Florida Bar a copy of these two days worth of hearings with a note attached "just watch this! Guaranteed you will find something!"

Is it just me? But isn't it weird that we are watching hearings filled with detailed information about the night Caylee was reported missing on worldwide TV/Internet and the Defense is asking that all this very public information be declared inadmissible?

Like the events that night never happened?

Even though we are seeing and hearing it all? Right in front of our eyes!

Really... can there be a legal loophole here that throws the facts right out?

That door was so close to being open, and I as not an attorney don't think the door was open but thanks to newsjunkie posting that testimony, i noticed that attorney at the SA table has a grin on his face. Reminded me of a kid just getting a big candy bar. Wonder if something said that I'm missing is a gold mind or am I reading too much into it.

I have a heating pad on one knee ,Voltaren gel for my hands and fingers (overuse injury,go figure :waitasec: ) and when I stand up I walk like an ole lady.

I am almost positive that is JB's wife. I have seen photos of her before and it appears to be the same young woman.

He was sitting right behind the defense - judge side of the velvet cord for some of the time, and he came and sat in Baez's chair for the breaks and laughed it up with ICA - yuck!

I KNEW IT!! I KNEW IT!! I KNEW IT!!!

I knew that I remembered George using the "I'll sell my soul to the devil" before today and it did not pertain to bringing Caylee home... but to bring Casey home. I have spent all this evening reviewing all the media interviews because I thought he said it on television... I could not find in anywhere. So I went to George's State deposition and on pg. 308... I FOUND it.

George Anthony: Anything thay I could do to bring my granddaughter home, to get my daughter out of jail, I'll do it. I'll sell my soul to the devil right now to get her out of jail, to answer your question."

He never in all the interviews and depositions, that I have read and listened to right now, did he EVER say that he would sell his soul to the devil to bring Caylee home. In his testimony today he said, and this is not verbatim "I'll say it again and I have said it before, I would sell my soul to the devil to bring my granddaughter home."

So no, he did NOT say that EVER. He did say he would sell his soul to the devil to get his daughter out of jail.

Another thing, while reading through the deposition that I found interesting is, I believe he said yesterday that he had a lot of notes that he had taken that he didn't bring to court that day (yesterday!!!)... that he wished he did.

Well on pg. 292 of George's deposition with the State... he says that he had a binder that he had written things in since the 1st day Caylee came up missing (my own correction: 31st day) and until they went to California for their Larry King Live interview on Dec. 10th, 2008. It is missing. It was 170 pgs worth of notes. All the information. Times. Dates. People he talked to. It was gone. He was racking his brain trying to remember everything. That it would probably have assisted them a lot that day (day of deposition) if he had it. He says he started writing everything down on his own - people he talked to - deputies that were at his house - the times - the dates - everything that happened.
