JB: in training logs there is no evidence of the blind testing. the entire log that was submitted by dept forgey relies on his credibility. there is a significant bias as to whether those reports are accurate.

Starting to sound like a huge conspiracy against ICA- even the dogs are in on it...

  • #583
JB attacking Dept. Forgey's credibility. The logs for the dogs depend on Dept. Forgey's credibility...insinuating that because he is the one writing the training records, that they are not reliable....

Best practice is the Swig? Which wasn't even in use in 2008 - oh my god

Pizza and squirrels and dogs, OH MY!

Hopefully JB never needs a cadaver dog to help find a member of his own family. Just saying.

Again he is on the SWG dog requirements not in compliance with the guidelines that WERE NOT in effect at the time. He just lied as the Judge asked him if there was a dsate that they were in effect.

Canine handler bias now...?

  • #588
Just to clarify, I believe JB was referring to the remains site and the dog not picking up a scent there after the remains were found. I do NOT think he was saying they knew there was a body in the backyard.

  • #589
What??? Did JB just say the Deputy F. is the ONLY handler for this? That's not true. What about the lady who testified last week?

What does any of this have to do with FRYE??? :waiting:

ETA: I meant MOTION, not frye.. listening to JB frYed my brain, lol

  • #591
bingo!

baez just admits that swig standards that came about after the case he was referencing was in 2009

so there goes his argument about the swig standards!

  • #592
JUDGE just caught JB in a big fat LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He lied again and then finally came clean with some hesitation.

  • #593
positive/negatives= error rates. Mr. Baez is very big on this. Now attacking credibility of dog handlers. Sheesh.

BBM

The irony is rich indeed, isn't it? :loser:

JB: swig dog. the dog was not trained correctly.
HH: do we have anything in the records about swig?
JB: swig is the only agency but there is no state guidelines
HH: we don't know when the swig dog guidelines came out?
JB: yes he testified...seven or eight months
HH: okay, thank you.

JB: is it a false positive? or can we speculate. we don't know what the dog was alerting to this case. that is unique to this case, not much guidance we cannot engage in speculation. dogs and cadaver dogs have been around for a while 1932 we would have had a senerio when this type of evidence was tried to be entered, and there was a case and I will get to that in a minute.

It chaps my azz that he gets up there and attacks the people who worked so hard to find Caylee, yet there his client was, partying up while her baby lay in a swamp.

*SCREAM*

Ya' think!

They have no defense which is why they attack the evidence and LE credibility/reliability...I truly hope Baez is never in need of help from any fine LEO....unreal....all for who? ICA...she will be done...it appears the defense does more harm than good with attacking the credibility instead of the methodologly.....

HHJP is asking about SWIG -he is so far ahead of JB - he knows JB's argument consists of BS.

This was a motion to exclude the dogs. Not a frye issue, I believe. :cow:

Anyone want to do a quick recap of highlights for me, or has JB just been talking?
