Bottom line - HHJP is trying to get across that the media needs to act responsibly. Justice is more important than scooping the next guy.

I just wish that she would mention the DT getting interviews with insession/48 hours...those were big ones.....

Atty: anytime there is publicity about a case and people have put themselves in the media .. no evidentiary showing . . . . that is a cause to have the jury location in trial being held . . . certainly anyone in FL could link on these websites . . even that isn't going to be effective . . . there are other reasonable alternative . . . like Voir Dire in extensive jury questioning

I can't see any difference it will make in this case to let the media know ahead of time where the jury will be picked. It only makes it more inconvenient for them to have to rush out once it is announced. Who cares? There are not going to be able to safeguard anyone's rights by knowing ahead of time. It will all come out the same no matter what, imo.
They could all fall off the face of the earth right now as far am I am concerned.

I just figured this out.... there is NO chance that this motion would be granted BUT what magic word has she thrown out a bazillion times???

We know CM and JB want an extensive Voir Dire questionaire and HHJP is not keen on them.....

I think this motion is part of a DT maneuver to get a particular Voir Dire method used.

I think the Judge is figuring this out.....especially after he just brought up the term "continuance".
