How does TL's car fit into their opening statement?

In their opening statements they questioned the means of the investigation, so I'm guessing that's where this is headed?

I love how Bloise asked 'Your Honor' even after JB gave him permission to look at his notes. He wasn't asking you, JB! haha

  • #144
Discussing the search warrant on the A's home.

  • #145
I think Jose is just trying to find possible omissions or bloopers to cast blame or doubt on the efficacy of the investigators. Could be wrong though.

Yeah yeah. Keep trying to discredit LE. The jury has seen your client LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE to them over and over. Good luck with that.

  • #149
JB asking if Bloise was assigned to check any other rooms (GA and CAs)

  • #150
Do you know the way to sand, Jose?

  • #151
  • #152
So they are pretty much going with the spaghetti on the wall defense

  • #153
If everybody they call today is LOCAL I think I will scream because they could have put them all on the stand yesterday.

  • #154
Ok, so Baez has established Tony's car was not involved ... So this makes the defendant inocent ?

Bloise explains they were checking ICA clothing with a light source. He also checked the living room, garage, and vehicles.

JB did you check GA and CA room

Bloise: I just visually checked did not use a light source

JB: now showing photographs to the witness.

  • #156
Trying to say that ICA was the only suspect and that GA was never looked into.

JB: Mr. B we already know you as a crime scene investigator for Orange County. On July 23, 2008, you were asked to investigate a vehicle, were you not?
GB: Wednesday?
JB: You may review your report ...
GB: Yes.
And who did this car belong to?
Tony Lazzaro.
You did an inspection of the interior and the exterior of the car. And a presumptive test for blood. Can you tell us everything you did with that car?
Negative on all tests.
Alternating light source tells you where to look first, correct?
Yes.
How does this work?
This tool checks for reaction to body fluid.
Next step?
A blood test. Results were negative.
Did you place the car on a lift?
No, I did not.
Can you check your report and see if there was anything else that you did.
Bloise checks report ...
...
August 6 2008, what did you do on that day?
May I refer to my report please? Your honor?
Yes.
Taht was the search warrant for the anthony's home.
JB gives address.
What was your assignment to do that day?
He checked for clothing, Casey's clothing.
Was part of your assignment to check any other rooms?
Living room, garage, car, vehicle, that's it.
But you did a visual inspection ... you did go further in ICA's room, yes?
Yes.
Shows evidence (long list) to Bloise ...
