Why would Casey's car have the same vegetation on it after a month? Especially since she probably washed it pretty well. I mean, I could see if LE caught her on the road leaving the scene, that this line of questioning might be productive. But otherwise . . .

WFTV analyst just pointed out that the Defense's own entomolgoist previously testified that the remains had been placed in late June/early July ... in effect, two defense experts with two different opinions. Says that is odd way to present this info.

This is sort of like watching Larry, Moe, and Curly in court. Now this expert is contradicting Dr. S., saying the body could't have been there that long. Well, when you can't fascinate 'em with facts, baffle 'em with .... well, you know.

how does 2 weeks fit in exactly with the fact that adjoining portions of her body were found together feet/yards away, which obviously had been carried away by animals prior to skeletonization, when soft tissue was still there to hold it together? hmmm.

Did she just say she thinks Caylee was there for only 2 weeks b/c of the pattern of leaf litter?

Oh boy

It's ridiculous! She visited the site a few months later! Even if she says she got this from observing the crime/recovery photos it's absurd. I hope the SA have a botanist ready to go for a rebuttal! What about all that root growth in the hair!?

I don't think ICA drove into the woods did she. this witness is saying vegetation on the defendants vehicle was of some kind of tree that was not found at the scene. The only way vegetation from that site would be found on her vehicle is if she drove into the woods. IS is not buying her theory of 2 weeks.

Sorry, but this seems implausible. There is no way that root system would be that involved in just 2 weeks of growth.

After listening to DS....does she mean to sound like she has no idea what she is doing? Now she is starting to sound a little 'baby girl voice'....IMO IYKWIM..

You may be on to something. It's called the 'Not That Smart' defense. But is it on purpose?

So, we can't argue that the roots growing up thru the laundry bag, trash bags, and thru the skeletonized remains of a child took one week (as she stated in her depo IIRC). Now the leaf litter tells her it was two weeks.

I need to go back and read her leaf litter litany in her depo...was it even in there?

Dr. Hall?

JA, on cross, should ask one question:
Did you say 2 weeks ?
Yes
No further questions your honor

What a load of ... No one had any trouble hearing her. Now, her "P" words are booming. This is another crappy DT strategy...

Maybe she's gonna build up to a Perry Mason moment. It sure seems to come and go.

Dr. Hall...OMG please DT just give up, hand Casey over, and go home

Oh jeeze DS forgot who was on the stand - she just called Bock - Dr. Hall.

Dr. Hall? Dr. Bock? Dr. Howard? Dr. Howard? Dr. Fine?

Mike Brooks is also baffled by this "2 weeks" claim. Ridiculous.
