I don't understand why everyone thinks that a dog possibly burying a bone is so outragious???? It is the SA theory that this was a trash dump site. Dogs do hunt out such site and dogs do bury bones. It is also the SA theory and evidence that the bones were scattered BY ANIMALS. What is so outragious?

Have you ever fed your dogs raw meat, bone and all? If so, what was left? My dogs ate and digested bone and all.

ETA: Don't feed your dogs cooked bones.

I didn't say the skull was buried by the dog. Who's to say the dog or dogs or coyotes or other animals that may have buried the hip bone just happened to pick just the hip bone. As far as the leaf litter, as per the witness it is possible the leaf litter as well as wet humid conditions, winds, manipulation of the evidence when the skull was removed by the crime scene personnel could have justified the position and evidence of the skull. Per the witness, it's possible just as it's possible an animal buried the hip bone. JMO

Possibly, maybe, it could have, I don't know, dog ate my homework.

It's all the defense has. Obfuscation and hand-waving doesn't make an expert witness, or the defense's case more reasonable.
