People who willingly purchase or deal (swap coffee, swap a watch) to get drugs are doing it of their own volition, and if caught, how can it be a set-up? Even if LE knows they buy drugs from a certain vendor, at a certain time, every three days, and LE waits for the action to take place, the people come along as usual and make their purchase, and get caught, how is that a set-up?

Now, if certain people are casually walking by a dealer, with no intent to purchase, and make no move to go near the dealer, yet they are busted by LE, and someone sneaks a packet of coke or something into the strollers' pockets, that would certainly be a set-up or a frame.

Doing business as usual and getting caught is NOT a set-up. It's being stupid, especially when two of your children are already incarcerated on drug charges, somehow involved in a child's disappearance/murder, and everyone is watching, and you already have a criminal record and are on probation. It's more than stupid, it's insane. Their addictions have ruined their lives and contributed to the ruination of their children's and grandchildren's lives. How is that LE's fault?

I believe Hank Sr has mentioned it in a few of the jailhouse tapes with Tommy that he would be far better off behind bars himself than living where he is living now. I thought he mentioned that at least he'd get medical attention for his back, have 3 square meals and a roof over his head or something to that affect. IMO

Oh Yea he did say that. I forgot why I felt sorry for him, and that was it, but ya know what I dont feel sorry for them anymore. They were trying to buy Coke, that crap is expensive, and I'm sure this wasnt the first time. If they can find money for drugs they can buy food.

But the night that Haleigh went missing, Hank and Lisa are accounted for, sleeping in a hospital. I dont think going to Rons almost trial had anything to do with Tommy, and especially since it was about drugs, and not Tommy, or murder charges. I also believe if Lisa or Hank knew anything credible they would have told it to another relative to tell to get the reward money and split, as far as I know these people are living in a little room without any money. Hank Sr is the only one who admits they are all stupid and pleads with Misty to not lie and tell the truth.

Sadly, I dont think Misty is going to get any more visitors at this point.

I also believed that Hank was in the hospital, with Lisa by his side, but now, I'm not so sure. & if the truth implicates their kids in a murder, no way would they want the cops to know, just so they could split the reward. Personally, I'm sick of their claim of ignorance. I think they know what happened, either because Misty or Tommy told them, or they figured it out. & if they were at the hospital, they know their house was empty, while gone. Did they find something suspicious, when they got back home? Did LE ever check out that house? Misty was seen in that area, tossing some trash. Why? Also, that night, a neighbor saw her on the phone, crying. Now who would most young girls call, when extremely upset? their mothers. I sure would love to see those phone records. & I want to add...if my child were threatened with murder charges, you can bet that I'd be at every hearing, even remotely related. That's something, I'd take very seriously, & I doubt Hank & Lisa just shrugged it off.

Is she just trying to go to prison to be with her daughter?

That was my first thought, or maybe LE wants both of them in there with Misty and Tommy. With the Haleigh Case anything is possible.

It must have been a light-headed moment for me to link to an AH blog because usually I grumble about his "sources" and their many versions. I agree, we want to see those promised phone records.

No worries AKSLEUTH. I think those light-headed moments are coming more often as we WANT to believe that someone is giving us accurate info. I am so discouraged for Haleigh's sake and I really feel for those LEO's that are trying, be they PCSO, FDLE or FBI. While some question corruption, I will go to my grave believing this is NOT true of every LEO involved. I am just truly sickened by no info from PCSO. Yes, I know they owe the public nothing but I think an update would be nice. Hardy did state there were several POI's. Who's next?

Well,, I have said many times that I do not feel sorry for any of these people, and I don't. I never will.

*As for whomever said that Misty may have told Lisa what she knows about the night Haleigh disappeared - I agree. The two of them had those couple of days when Misty was away from the tents and that is when I believe Misty may have had some talks with her mother. Even a bad mother knows whether or not her child is lying to her. I believe Lisa got the truth from her.

It was probably only a matter of time before Hank and Lisa were caught buying drugs. It was obvious they were using (especially Lisa), so of course they had to be buying.

Was it cocaine or crack cocaine they were purchasing? I understand crack is cheap. In any event, they are obviously addicted, so it's not really a choice of drugs over food.

Jail may be a good place to try and clean up, as they don't seem to be able to do it on their own. They have never been able to take care of their kids or themselves.

The point I was making is all of these players seem to think the State owes them a living. Its not the State's place to provide these people with funds to buy drugs. I got the impression that when Hank Sr made the comments he did, that he'd just get into trouble so the State could take care of him period. Maybe the State out to make these people work for their meals in prison, rather than give them a hand out. I'm so sick of these people always thinking its everbody elses place to take care of them. The only reason I feel any sort of sympathy for Hank is I think he got a raw deal with the drunk driver situation. That insurance company should have paid him for his medical bills and lost wages since he can no longer work, but if Hank was out buy drugs then he deserves what he gets. I don't feel sorry for him sitting behind bars.

I don't for a minute believe that LE is "out to get" Lisa and Hank Croslin. It's only been a couple of months or so since their original charges were adjudicated with very favorable outcomes for the two of them. IMO, if LE was after these two, they would have drawn prison sentences instead of probation.

Do I think it's an accident that they have these new charges? Not likely, but LE has been thwarted at every juncture with nothing but lies from two key players in Haleigh's investigation who happen to be the offspring of these two. I think this could very well be the "straw that broke the camel's back" in the pressure for the truth that's being applied to Tommy and Misty.

After listening to hours of jailhouse tapes, I don't think anyone would doubt that there is genuine and sincere love, as best they know it, between the members of this family. The actions of Misty and Tommy resulting in their parents being caged like animals for a long time may be the last "straw" that LE has been looking for.

For Haleigh's sake, I pray it to be so.

I did not mean get them as in LE wanting the parents per se. I was thinking more in terms of getting the parents in jail as a way to get to their kids.

I just have to wonder if Ron's best friend Timmy will talk on the phone to his parents. I just have to wonder if LE might be busy listening to Daddy/Tommy and Misty/Mommy who may forget where they are and talk more freely.

I think that love could work to LE's favor.

I was talking set up in the sense that the person who they purchased the drugs was targeting them for LE.

I also would not be surprised if LE starts being nice to the Croslins and let them have their own "special" cells together.

I don't believe any of these druggies. They're all on dope and dopers lie, cheat, and steal. They are all manipulating each other and have no real loyalty. No real loving parents raises their kids in a drug environment where one claims that her brother molested her. That's how drugs and druggie friends mess up kids. I still think Haleigh was left alone, one of the bunch got in removed her to the outside and molested her, so that's why he helped Misty claim that she was there and asleep or why Haleigh has to be disposed of because his dna is on her. That whiny drug addicted Tommy or Misty would never in a million years have covered for Joe as long as they did and then make up a crazy story to implicate themselves. It's them, it's got to be. They wouldn't confide in their parents because they are untrustworthy druggies who'd do anything for drugs most likely.

Dodie, I often wondered why Hank and Lisa never went back to Magnolia after Hank got out the hospital. This has always bothered me. I mean, you would think that after getting out of the hospital with severe injuries, you would want to go home to your own place. IMO, I would understand that move better, if Hank was by himself. But he wasn't..he had Lisa to help him. So why did they never go back? I am curious. I wonder if Hank and Lisa found out something that happened over at their Magnolia address before being released from the hospital? If a crime took place at my house, I would be afraid to go back there too, depending on the crime.
Wasn't it said somewhere that Misty called her mom before calling 911? Misty did stay with them for a few after Haleigh went missing. I think Misty told her mom something...not quite sure if it was the absolute truth, though. But then that makes me wonder why Hank and Lisa agreed to the marriage between Ron and Misty? Were they threatened or did they feel Misty was better protected surrounded by the Cummings?
IIRC, there was a video of Lisa C. saying that she didn't think that Misty was home that evening. I think that Lisa knows where Misty was that night and she was not at the mh.

This whole case is a sad mess!



The only "Victim" here is Haleigh and she sure didn't have a chance in life being surrounded by so many dysfunctional people! All of them, there is not one that is better than the other.

I am not surprised that Lisa and Hank got arrested, hey he even said it early on he would rather be in jail at least he would have 3 meals a day, medical, and a roof over his head. Who knows, maybe this was a plot on their part to have clean cool place to stay and be with their children, seems they have nobody.

They are sick (I am not defending them, just stating MOO), addiction is a sickness like any other sickness and I pray that this jail stay will help get them started on a path to recovery. They need to be sent to a drug rehab for at least 2 years once they are let go. That goes for all the players. IMO, I don't feel that Hank nor Lisa know what really happen, they only know what has been said to them, lies and more lies! We have to remember Hank Sr. was in the hospital the night Haleigh went missing and Lisa was with him.

I now wonder if this will help Misty and/or Tommy? Mom and Dad have a drug problem, what role models these kids had. Will this be brought up at their trial/hearing to help get them a reduced sentence or sympathy from the judge?



I am really puzzled at why LE has not looked more into Ronald, Timmy, and Chelsea and why PC "Refuses" to release Ronald's audio/visits from what I understand. Simon, I know you have requested them several times and nothing!



I don't understand why the SA would even consider a plea for Ronald and why Fields is not working on a plea for Misty. She is a first offender, Ronald is "NOT". He has gotten away easy in the past and it seems he will slide right by again this time around. Why? Oh Why?



I am to the point where I don't think we will ever learn what really happen to Haleigh, nor will she be found. How terribly sad! All we hear about are the sickening sideshows of all the players, but nothing on Haleigh. I really wonder what is going on in Putnam Co...JMO

I honestly feel sorry for all the Croslin kids because they never had a chance in life being raised by Lisa and Hank. I dont really like to make fun of people like that, but thats just me. And as far as I can tell, all the Croslin kids lived and were able to grow up, unlike Ronald Cummings missing daughter, the reason we are all here.

BS... IF LE was really interested in revealing the truth as to what really happened to Haleigh and where she is they would have somehow managed to find a way to lock up TN and GGMS 17 months ago...
For some uncanny reason I'm reminded of something TN stated in an interview early on last week.. Something to fact she was going to meet with JM later in the week, and they might be closer to knowing what happened to Haleigh...
