If they found prints, they may not be able to identify them if the person does not have prints in the system. My prints are in the WA state system because I volunteered at a school. However, good pt about diff prints being found, that would tell them someone else was there.
Question: do state fingerprint records tie in nationally?

I managed to stay fingerprinted-less until a few years ago when I went to work for the Feds on a 13 week contract. I had to have an FBI background check complete with a full set of fingerprints; my contract was nearly over by the time they finished. What a pain in the neck. Now I guess I can never break bad
