I was totally wrong.
So whoever I stood my ground with on that, my apology is now extended to you.

It wouldn’t have mattered in terms of finding Allen, which came down to the discovery of that lost statement, but I think the case could have been much stronger had they been around once that took place.

Imagine kicking out the FBI, the best equipped and most experienced law enforcement organization in the country, if not the world.

No, they wouldn’t have helped catch him faster, but they could have provided assistance after the fact, to include recommendations on how to interview Allen. Infuriating.

My take on the tweets is that disturbing photos of the girls after death were visible to the entire courtroom, but the disturbing video of the defendant was shielded from public view.

I believe what was being described as Libby’s grandmother being upset that the girls naked bodies at the crime scene and autopsy were shown to all, but these videos of RA in custody were only showed to the jurors.

I don’t blame her for being upset.

I agree but psychosis has varying degrees of crazy. A trained professional can see it. Also psychosis is a very broad diagnosis.

It can be temporary, a response to a traumatic event, it can come and go, it can be severe and progress into madness. Or it can be all of that.

MOO based on my ex's untreated mental illness until 3 years ago.
Typically, people who have a psychotic break think they do not need help. The delusions and bizarre feelings (physical and mental) are very real and painful to them.

I'm not a mental health professional but my ex was. It is very hard to get some into a psychiatric hospital unless they are a threat to themselves or others. MOO

And I gotta say....if RA was able to maintain that level of activity while not sleeping/eating poorly AND having Haldol injections, I'm impressed/terrified/amazed. Haldol is pretty strong stuff. I saw my son and others on his floor who received Haldol injections (both the short acting and the monthly shot)...activity and energy are not words that would match what I saw.

I seem to recall RA telling Walla "I don't think the Haldol is working." I would agree with that.

I found that such an odd way to describe a male, any male, by witness BB. Especially when just describing a guy seen in passing for a fleeting moment. In fact, I thought she might be from another country, where that might be more of a cultural norm, or someone whose first language was something other than English, but her name sounds American enough, not that that means much.

Can someone please clarify the "beautiful" for me.

I would wonder if long term alcohol misuse might impact his tolerance of and reactions to psychotropic medications- I don’t know but I’d guess it might- moo

And prison is only a trigger, the capacity for psychotic thinking and behavior is internal to him.

A tan jacket could be one full of mud/dirt. White wash jeans are still blue jeans--just lighter in colour, slightly bleached out. It could still be RA/BG.

Especially since many people, myself included, look at the image of BG and see him wearing a tan hoodie that is sticking out under the blue jacket. What a handy way to reduce the amount of visible blood on oneself after a murder--take off the outer jacket and the hoodie, put the bloody outer jacket on first, and then put the tan hoodie on OVER THE BLUE JACKET to cover the blood. Especially when leaving the blue jacket somewhere in the woods would risk discovery and the finding of your DNA on it. Now you can remove it from the scene to deal with it later. Unfortunately, you are stuck with bloody pants.

After Carter was released, the courtroom TV was moved and positioned in front of the jury. No one in the public seating area could see the videos played. McLeland renewed his objection.

Videos #11 – 15 were taken between May 13 and June 20 of 2023.

During Video #13, Russell said Baldwin turned away, shaking his head. Three jurors sat uncomfortably during Video #14. Defense attorney Jennifer Auger was also seen looking away.

Video #15 was 34 minutes long, according to Russell. Multiple jurors took notes, and an alternate juror appeared very surprised and wide eyed. Baldwin was seen speaking to Richard Allen softly with his arm around him. Allen was shaking his head while also taking notes

Videos ended at 11:50 a.m. Russell said of the videos viewed, four contained nudity while others showed Allen being transported to receive medical care.

Upon Rozzi’s questioning, Max Becker said he created a similar spreadsheet for security footage from inside Allen’s cell. State prosecutor Nick McLeland later said he would hold on his cross-examination of Baker until all the videos are watched.

Court ended just before noon Saturday.

You have better eyesight than I do. I cannot determine with certainty if the person in Liberty German's phone video is Richard Allen. I wonder if during any of his confessions he told people that it was indeed him on the phone video?

It looks like, based on the confession details only the killer would know, that he is most likely going to be convicted. But it should be interesting to see how the jury deals with the confessions. The confessions happened after his arrest. In my opinion, without the confessions, the state never had a case against Richard Allen.

I'm torn.

If the viewing of the crime scene images containing Abby & Libby did anything 'for the public', and quite frankly for the prosecution too, it dispelled all the fanfic Franks' allegations and youtube rumours about Abby having sticks placed on her head like antlers, that the crime scene was devoid of blood, their bodies staged with 'ritualistic cross' placement of branches upon them, etc etc.

They did definitively show that what happened to these girls was not the result of a ragtag group of rogue Odinists (ie: the SODDIs) roaming Indiana - intent upon performing humna sacrifices to their Gods, which was the ruse heaped upon the public by the leaked crime scene photos and their youtube following masses of supporters.
