What if police are not commenting on the theory that Danni's friend helped her disable the GPS because they want to see how it plays out when people think that Danni left voluntarily. We already know that one expanded theory was that, after she left the Shell station, she drove to a shady part of town to buy drugs.

Who actually doubts the information from Danni's friend - is it the police, other friends Danni was with that night, her ex-boyfriend's family? Who genuinely believes that Danni's friend is lying about what happened that night? Who suggested that her friend might get away with murder because he has friends in high places? Did that come from police?
Wasn't the other guy a friend of Danni's friend the bartender? But not really a direct friend? Or did I get that wrong?

Do you have some comparables of cars pulled from fast moving water after several months or years? Cars pulled from lakes will look very different than cars pulled from moving water.

This is from a bayou and the car was in the water for 3 months. Granted there are a LOT of variables between the 2 locations.

Skeletal remains found in car in Sims Bayou

Earlier in this thread there are MSM links saying that the front end damage was caused by LE removing the car from the water....moo

You are correct! I forgot.

Thank you for sharing this....moo

You're welcome ...

This video also gives a really good idea of the are the car was found. I figured that this just had a grass or dirt bank to the bayou which a car could have been pushed easily into the water. That most certainly isn't the case, there is a concrete bulkhead that would be impossible to push a car over. That tells me that the car was most likely under power when it went in the water.

No idea. All I know is that Danni was with 3 friends to celebrate how close she was to assuming 80% of parenting her daughter.

Has anyone been able to pull up TT record? I can’t be for certain the mugshot I saw was his. What if she was the one selling? Maybe the runner for DW? Was this a result of his debt to someone?
Also, I’m no forensic but it doesn’t look like the car pulled from the water had been there for 9 months. Any opinions on the condition of the car?

You ask an interesting question - what would the car look like if it was 30 feet deep for 10 months (July 17, 2018 - May 2019)? I started looking at watershed management reports and flood mitigation draft plans to better understand how that water environment looks.

So far I know that it flows into the Mississippi, there are a number of tributaries the flow into the Bayou Sara. Were floatation devices used to raise the car to avoid disturbing river bed sediment? I doubt there was more than a skeleton.

I'll see what I can find out about water temperature averages and depths. Any thoughts on what is left of a body after that time? There's a decomposition formula based on time and temperature, we just need the temp, then we can figure out what is left of the body - what police have to work with. They have hair, which is good for drug history use. That needs to be ruled out given all the drug talk. Bones in clothing?

Someone posted fantastic a water channel map when we first explored ideas about the car in water. Anyone have the link handy? I think it had water topography too.

Before I go further, can someone please confirm that this is where the car was found. Thanks

Has Danni's mother commented? Never mind. Has it been confirmed to be Danni?

Is that Danni's car? It looks cleaner on the tow truck.
Definitely NOT a Chevy Cruz! This must be what someone thinks it should look like

When police announce that they have identified Danni's body, I hope they tell us how she was identified (e.g.: dental, clothing, DNA).
