Australia - Pheobe Bishop, 17, failed to board a flight from Queensland, Bundaberg, 15 May 2025 *Arrests* #4

But two counts?
Scenario 1:
She was killed at the first location in Goodnight Scub Park then one count would be moving her to location 2 (where she was found) & he interfered with her corpse after death (eek) at location 1

Scenario 2:
He helped move her from where she died (Bundaberg airport area) to location 1 to location 2 = 2 counts.

I lean towards scenario 2 as she was decomposing & wild animals involved, I’m unsure forensics could show he did something to her corpse at location 1 before moving her.

I think they hid her near the creek from the BMX track area then moved her at night to location 1, then to location 2.
Agree

Also agree.

I think she was marched out of the vehicle under force after a verbal altercation, killed / executed - probably shot - there and then. That part not having been planned as it arose spontaneously.

Then the pair had to consider what to do with her body later. This is probably where something to do with the 'body sized' large grey holdall, packing tape, brand new sweat pants story, comes into it.

They probably came back later and moved her somehow and then later revised that plan and felt it best to leave her to the elements and to be savaged by wild animals. Horrible to say this but I wouldn't surprised if they tried a few other things to destroy her body and destruct evidence at that point.

IMO the only reason LE left these two free for as long as they did was to track and trace them and hope they'd be led to a body or that one would turn on the other. JMO MOO

We know Tanika had gel blaster gun(s) in the car twice - in Feb when charged prior to the murder & one in the car found after the murder.

Can gel blaster guns kill people? Along with my lack of knowledge about wild pigs & dogs, I’m clueless about guns but think someone said they aren’t a ‘real gun’.

  1. Can gel blaster guns kill people? Along with my lack of knowledge about (4) wild pigs & dogs, I’m clueless about (1 - 3) guns but think someone said they aren’t a ‘real gun’.
Hi @MathildaM,
  1. No, GBs cannot 'kill people', unless someone used them/it as a battering ram to the victim's head or something equally horrifying - but 'used as a gun', no - however - *you* are correct - GBs are NOT a 'real gun' BUT they *look* very real, read: Police shoot six people wielding gel blasters in Queensland in six years, ABC, 14th April, 2025.
  2. To see GBs in action, go to YouTube, search: Gellblaster / gel blaster - there's many tubes to watch & you'll know all there is to know about them (lots of advertising too but that comes with the territory, where there's money to be made there's advertising).
  3. The fact TB had a GB in her vehicle, I'd strongly suggest she had no intention of ever using it to *play* Skirmish.
  4. Wild pigs/wild dogs - if these are ever encountered you're gunna wish you're carrying a real-gun, not a GB.

Edit - added dp 4.

Paraphrasing:

Charges for Mittelheuser include two counts of accessory after the fact to murder, one count of contravening a direction or requirement by a police officer, two counts of driving without a licence whilst disqualified by court order, fraud involving dishonest application of another’s property, possessing dangerous drugs, breach of bail conditions, and failure to appear in accordance with an undertaking.

The videolink was cancelled without explanation shortly before the hearing was due to commence.

It has been adjourned to 13 October for a committal mention.

Mittelheuser was also found in possession of meth on 19 May.

Man charged with being accessory after alleged murder of Pheobe Bishop remanded in custody

“A Queensland court has heard there is an "extremely large" case against a third person charged in relation to the murder of Bundaberg teenager Pheobe Bishop.

Kieren Daniel Mittelheuser, 30, is charged with two counts of accessory after the fact to murder, as well as a string of other unrelated offences.

Police allege Mr Mittelheuser interfered with their investigation by accessing Ms Bishop's mobile phone in the days after she was reported missing on May 15.

Police prosecutor Vikki Kennedy-Grills told the court there was an "extremely large" brief of evidence, which included more than 150 exhibits and 130 witness statements.

Magistrate Rowan said Mr Mittelheuser was charged with a single count of fraud and driving whilst disqualified on May 15.

The court heard he was also facing unrelated charges of breaching bail on June 19 and failing to appear on June 23.

Ms Bishop's mother and sister were in the courtroom for the hearing, both wearing clothing in memory of the teenager.”

"The house of horror where tragic Pheobe Bishop spent her last days alive surrounded by bags of dead puppies, dog faeces and piles of rotting trash
has been quietly sold.

It is understood
the buyer is local and intends to restore it to its former glory."
