They definitely wouldn't bring him in unless they had something. All of my appendages are crossed that they can extract the needed info from him so they can find this poor girl
I’m thinking maybe the forensics results have come back

W

Why has the leather off the base of the passenger seat been removed?!?!?!?
Looks like it could be a sheepskin wool overlay type thing. Maybe a cushion from a dog bed seeing as he has had a dog with him.

This, plus/or maybe Tanika has talked as has been suggested.
But the fact that LE has seemingly abruptly called off the physical search MAY indicate that they know where Phoebe is.
They certainly won't state that until she has been retrieved.

I know it's the daily fail, but the quotes from him.....seriously....what a story.

Thankfully, Queensland has No Body, No Parole laws.

No Body, No Parole laws were introduced in 2017 and apply to a prisoner sentenced for a
homicide offence where the victim’s remains have not been located.

The policy restricts a prisoner’s access to parole unless they have provided satisfactory
cooperation in locating the victim’s remains.

Sounds like he has been talking to the Daily Mail

"In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail Australia, James Wood described a tense and emotional morning that ended with Pheobe walking away from the car - and never being seen again."

"After loading a large duffle bag - 'almost the size of her' - into the car alongside his dog, they set off for the airport, with Bromley driving and Pheobe in the back seat. "

So he gives Daily Mail an interview and is arrested an hour or 2 later. This whole thing just gets more weird as it goes on. Why today of all days did he decide to finally tell his “story”

Sounds unlikely unfortunately

I agree, it is all very strange timing.

Could the police have him in custody for something else? Are we sure it is related to PB?

They’ve reported that he is there helping them with their inquiries in relation to her disappearance - a spokesperson for QPS apparently told media

I hope she wasn't in the duffle bag! Strange thing to say that it was almost the size of her when she is missing. Moo

That's pretty much explaining that Pheobe is going to be found in a duffle bag
