Yep correct
TIME 10.30 am
Officers have seen footage showing Pheobe in the back of the Hyundai caught on the CCTV of a home on Samuels Road.
They have also returned to the road several times, and searched beyond the perimeter of the dump.
tried to see Samuels Rd on Google maps.... ? Not coming up...

Just pointing out I do not find it odd having a make up bag in the car. I know several women who bring one everywhere they go. I'm not one of them, lol, but seriously I know women who cart a full make up bag and touch things up, or change their look entirely, in the car. Personally, I believe that part of the story. It looks like Tamilka wears a lot of make up in the pics we have seen of her.

The trackpants sound absurd due to how baggy they would be, BUT that can be a style choice, and they may have been a desirable brand.

I'm very confused about when they supposedly realized money and jewelry was missing? I think Pheobe would have had motivation to steal given her expressed desire to never return. Not meant as a personal comment. I think ANYONE in that situation would have motivation. And likewise, if someone stole from you, that would be motivation for violence against them, if not intent to murder.

We already know there are some serious problems with anger and weapons here, so not a big leap at all.
A Makeup bag in a car in Queensland doesn’t last long. I’ve had a lipstick in the car for only a weekend and it completely melted. This wasn’t even in Summer either.

They were "brand new" according to JW. They may have had an adjustable waist band (I'm thinking drawstring style) but still, if they were intended for his body at any time in the recent past, they would not have been a good fit for Pheobe.
I know.... I should not find any levity in this situation and I think everyone just wishes there could be some miracle that enabled PB to escape

do they collect your DNA from a cup or something in the AUS police station, or is that not legal?
They have done in the past, but I believe it needs to be collected in a controlled environment to be admissible in court. I can't remember the exact case, but police interviewed a guy in the Blue Mountains, NSW area and secretly collected DNA. Maybe not possible in QLD because it is a different state but I don't have a good understanding of these laws, to be honest.

There's been no official report but people are assuming based on the way they live. IMO no one lives in that filth without doing drugs. They have only rented the home since around the end of last year and the place looks decrepit already
The condition of the house, the known parties and the sawn-off shotty kept in the car.

The average Joe Blow in the street ain't going to turn up to that house for the odd drinking session.

Could it be he is telling the truth ,
that Phoebe stole $5k and has done a runner - maybe she has someone else help her ( who was living in the house )
Maybe that person didn’t want her to visit ex - boyfriend?
Maybe she is hiding with other person ?
Maybe other person hurt her ?

It’s a possibility - ? I just thinking it’s possible there are others involved
Yep. I do hope LE is considering other lines of enquiry because there are other possibilities to be considered but noone meaning the press or investigative journalists seems to be talking about these.
Unrelated but I remember when Maddie Mccan went missing, LE spent years investigating the poor parents instead of considering that the culprit may have been a perfect stranger. Which was and went undetected for years. She could have maybe been found.
Imagine how these innocent people must have felt, chased by LE, by press, while having lost their child.

And anyway, the presumption of innocence is a sacred principle and whatever happened, witch hunting and harassment and unsubstantiated allegations are very wrong in any situation.

JMO.

Has anyone understood from where the car pic comes from and at what time this standstill from a cctv has been taken ? The one seen in all dailymail reporting. Because in that pic, it is JW driving, and there doesn’t seem to be anyone in the passanger seat.

This is the case I recall if anyone is interested, someone also did a podcast about it.

Covert DNA sampling was considered again in R v Nicola (2002).869 In that case, police interviewed the accused about a sexual assault allegation. He denied having had sex with the victim. Police asked him to provide a DNA sample, but he declined. Some time later, the accused went to the police station to ask for the return of some boxer shorts which had been taken for forensic examination.

While he was there, he asked for a cup of coffee. One of the police officers who saw him throw his Styrofoam cup in the bin retrieved it and submitted it for DNA analysis. The profile obtained from the cup matched the profile obtained from the victim’s body and clothes, and the accused was convicted on this evidence. On appeal, the defence argued that the DNA evidence should not have been admitted, as the accused had made it clear that he did not want to provide a DNA sample, but police ignored his express wishes and examined the cup anyway.

The court dismissed the appeal, upholding the trial judge’s conclusion that there was nothing improper about police retrieving the cup and submitting it for DNA analysis. Both Daley and Nicola dealt with DNA samples which were taken before the Act commenced, and the admissibility of evidence was determined according to section 138 of the Evidence Act 1995.

The Crimes (Forensic Procedures)Act specifically provides, in section 82, that evidence obtained through a forensic procedure is inadmissible where there has been breach of any provision of the Act, unless the court is of the opinion that the desirability of admitting the evidence outweighs the undesirability of admitting the evidence.

The $5k in cash in the house. Average Joe doesn’t keep that kind of cash laying around unless they were buying/selling something off marketplace. Or doing something illegal.

Shocking images of derelict house missing girl lived in before disappearance

“New images of the derelict property Pheobe Bishop lived in before her disappearance have emerged, the day after her housemate was taken in for questioning.

The quiet street was mostly deserted on Thursday, save for several media crews.

Pictures from the house depict its derelict state, with the front lawn still strewn with rubbish weeks after the police cordoned off the property.

Part of the police tape had fallen away.

Police on Wednesday announced they had called off all physical searches for Pheobe.

“There are currently no physical searches for Pheobe at this stage, however physical searches will happen as needed and as information is provided,” the spokesman told NewsWire.

“Investigations are ongoing and police are continuing to run out several lines of inquiry.”

it does feel like things are beginning to unravel now. Poor Pheobe. She was so excited to fly out, planned and planned and honestly really needed this trip. knowing that she would have thought about it constantly and looked forward to it so much breaks my heart knowing that she never got to go. The sooner justice is served the better. I’m glad that the police seem to have been patiently building a case.
I know, she almost made it out! She was so close. She almost made it happen.

But somebody had other plans.

Allegedly.
