On Thursday, JW was captured on video at a local park dozing in his car, as he slept in the drivers seat with his dog in the back.

He was also seen with his hair coloured blonde and a long grown out beard, marking a drastic change in his appearance prior to PB's disappearance.

Surely if the police had found evidence at the house or in the car they’d have a reason to arrest? So no evidence found?
The house mates have not been named as suspects have they?

  • #223
oh I thought the police finished their search of it and released it
Yes they have …. The car photos are not a good look for the Police, that he was being forced to live on the street in the car, might have sped up the police process of releasing the property ….

Guessing he is back at the house now that Police have cleared it.IMO

Apologies for my ignorance and any wrong assumptions - I only came to this a day ago and catching up is hard :-). But I have tried!

Going back to basics... I can't find any reliable eye witness reports of Pheobe's whereabouts beyond the CCTV the police have of her in the back of the car in Samuels Road. Why then is the fact that she was dropped off on Airport Drive seemingly widely accepted? Airport Drive is an airport perimeter road, which are generally fairly inhospitable places. People tend not to walk them. The photo is from Instant Street View - sadly it doesn't go any closer in to the airport than this but it's reasonable to assume that there would be domestic traffic plus airport vehicles, freight carriers and so on. But not overly busy at that time of day. This is not part of the crowded drop-off areas in front of terminal buildings so surely, surely someone would have seen her walking, if indeed she was dropped off there at all?

Hair analysis: Assessment of homemade hair treatment effects on drug concentrations in the keratin matrix

Some hair “cleansing” procedures suggested in the Internet to negativize hair samples for drugs, demonstrated themselves to be very effective in lowering analyte concentrations

Check the tables at the bottom of the page - in the study, bleaching removed up to 96% of drug traces from hair, varying by drug.

You can click on the bubbles in the airport car park and see Airport Drive from that location.
If you turn around, you'll see all the CCTV cameras, and there are most likely a lot more cameras there that you can't see from Google Maps.

My understanding was that even the police "sighting" of her in the back of the car is not confirmed? All sources state that the vehicle was seen on Samuels Rd and asked for dashcam footage, but it seems that only Daily Mail were reporting that police had actually seen PB sitting inside?

Are you able to see what time on the 14th ??? Also would TT be in Australian date and time???
Thanks

Just wondering if anyone (besides the roommates) have seen her after that time, in respect to proof of life ????
Back to the subject of her TT/social media presence no you can't see the time of her repost, only the date that the reposted video was published (the latest one was posted on the 14th). TT will show you dates based on your own timezone. After this it seems like all sightings/activity were reported by housemates, reporting on whether or not she was actually seen on any CCTV is vague

Because they changed their identity and obscured their numberplate. I think it has a lot to do with Pheobe going missing, actually.

Do you mean they changed appearance?

Changing Identity
means to me changing personal data, such as name, date and place of birth, etc.
Like changing info in ID card.
(e.g. people with new identity in witness protection)

And they only changed the colour of hair.

I sometimes change my hair colour
but I'm always Dotta ;)

Oh wait!
Some adverts say
"New Colour, New You!" hehe

Sorry, but I really think you read that wrong. I can see why you took it to mean that though, because it's somewhat confusing wording.

They said, "He was also seen with his hair coloured blonde and a long grown out beard, marking a drastic change in his appearance prior to PB's disappearance."

To me, they're saying he was seen with his hair colored blonde, which was a drastic change from the way he had been wearing it before she disappeared.

Which is the opposite way you interpreted it! And I can see it both ways, but I really think they're saying he colored it AFTER she went missing. Try reading it again and see if you think the same! Of course, I could be the one reading it wrong, but that's what I understand it to say.

Great thanks for wording it clearer

I think the platinum blonde makes them stick out to much its a bad choice when trying to hide in a small town

Hahaha
They certainly stick out like sore thumbs.
This change makes me chuckle.
What a pair!

There is also a video of one dog,
(believed to have lived in the house)
roaming the street.
People say it is "like seeing a ghost".

This is why I don't trust much of what the media is reporting on this.

The police reports don't confirm that the vehicle was sighted at those locations, it just asks if anyone has CCTV or dash cam footage of the vehicle at those locations and anywhere in the Gin Gin wider area.

There should be a 'watch' button on the top righthand side of your screen ... to the right of the page numbers at the top.
Thanks, apparently I am but I'm having a hard time keeping up.

This is an old photo (Nov 2020). Things have been built in this area since this was taken.

I think it's widely "accepted" that she was allegedly dropped off there because that's what her house mates are saying, and therefore the police are running with that. I personally believe nobody else has come forward to say they saw her in that area, and nobody but the house mates saw her in the singlet and track pants. My thoughts are that police are appealing for witnesses who saw her in that area, and for anyone who saw someone wearing the same clothes, to come forward, fully knowing that nobody will because it didn't happen. MOO.

Are we forgetting she’s 17. Do we know who purchased the ticket for her or who gave consent? Her mum?

This (her age) would imply that PBs legal guardian or parent would have had to consent especially travelling alone. If I knew my child was going on a plane on their own, I would be phoning them before they leave and asking to text me when they land.

You can buy tickets and travel alone in Aus at that age
