I wondered the same. Can anyone shed any light on why there’d be two charges each of interfering with a corpse?

Well done QPS. So sad for you dear Pheobe x
A theoretical example could be that she was murdered at the house, moved to the scrub they initially were searching for her and then went back and moved her body to a different location. Not suggesting this is what happened but I would guess that doing something like that would count as 2 charges.

I hate to say it but possibly moved only once but also mutilated or some other abuse to the corpse (maybe to fit in that duffel bag he speaks of). 😩
The two charges could be moved twice but if we go on the facts from QPS last week - that they believe evidence was relocated from the GNSNP, as well as “clues” JW has been leaking this week (numerous times mentioning a duffel bag which was about her size), I would hazard a guess to say she was placed in the bag, which may have required some changes to her body shape, size, length, or some other abuse 😩 which could represent one of the charges. The other charge would be relocating the body after the initial dumping of it.

The 2 x interfering charges each suggest they moved her body twice. 😢

IMO she was killed in the house. They moved her to somewhere near the airport, making the fake call to look as if she had indeed headed to the airport. Then they realised a problem with this plan and went and relocated her a second time.

Obv whatever happened to PB was not some planned out event and happened fairly spontaneously so they were acting in panic then realised the error and removed her. Where did they put her though? Somewhere they believed to be safe and undiscoverable.

yep
my theory all along.
None of what they said made sense.

Occams Razor was the logical reasoning

As the police released him and then arrested him, I think it means he didn’t admit anything. If he’d admitted whilst in custody they’d have charged him then.

If TB was at the police station today, I’m sure the media (and locals) would have reported it, so I don’t think she’s admitted it either.

Police say her remains not located so i don’t think they would know if she was in the duffel bag - if he said she was, he wouldn’t have been released.

Hence I don’t think the interference charge is about the duffel bag. If they find her she could well be in the bag.

I’m so very broken hearted for Pheobe, I don’t think she ever had a chance 💔

I'm guessing they released him on purpose to track him and see if he would go back to her body and move her, and he fell for it?

Exactly

He shot himself in the foot with that interview

Good journalism coming in with their net :)

Can’t be this as they have said they don’t have her body

Maybe they sat her body up in the back of the car, knowing it would be captured on CCTV.
Criminals like that, they know every millimetre of which camera is covering what.
They drove past the cameras into blind spots.
They made a fake dead air call from her phone - arguing with one another as one was maybe saying no don't do that and the other one was like yeah I'm gonna say we've dropped her off.
Or maybe when turning off her phone they accidentally dialled last number called or something.
The 'five minute walk' out of the vehicle to 'let PB cool down' was when they dragged her already deceased body from the vehicle to a dumping ground
Then they claimed they have dropped her at the airport.
Maybe they though nobody really cares enough about PB to investigate a runaway kid.
They say she's a troubled child and she's stolen from them so she's living on stolen cash.
Later they think better of this and go retrieve and move her somewhere else.
They put her inside a brand new pair of brand new shop bought joggers as they would have no DNA on them.
Maybe one leg for her top, one for her bottom, wrapped her in tape, folded her in the long bag.
They know she can be found and the joggers and bag and lack of make up can be known.
Where is she?

How can you charge someone with moving a body twice if there's no body? Unless cadaver dogs picked up on two scents?

Police statement says her remains have not been located so I don’t think he went to her body.

That could be why they liked him living in the car hoping he would.

I bet they put trackers on the car when they had it… just incase

I guess we won’t know until the trial (assuming they plead not guilty) if they plead guilty we will probably never know

I think when they released JW he made contact with TB to go over their story. That’s why they were both arrested in Bundaberg

The police would have a lot of information not given to the media, for obvious reasons.
This case showed just how imaginative it all went, other mysterious people being involved, her family being involved, PB running away, JW and TB innocent, it coudnt have been her, must have only been him , on and on and on.
Social media was wild with so many tall tales.
Media also played a part by publishing some info that was not relevant to the case.
Was it a tactic? Possibly.
Criminals read everything on line. They use some of the fodder for their own advances.

When police cuffed him and arrested him yesterday they would have had evidence to have brought him in.
They cant charge a person WITHOUT concrete evidence or it will be thrown out in court and they would have been free to walk.

Something happened yesterday at the last arrest and this is what led to them being arrested this evening.

The police are smart. The press are smart.

And dumb and dumber stood no chance.

SO happy they are finally charged and that Phoebe can finally come home to her family.

NO BODY< NO PAROLE

TB will be thinking about that one

I suspect this might be the big thing. Cadaver dogs picked up that a body was recently in the area they were searching in Good Night Scrub and possibly some more incriminating evidence found in the soil samples that were taken.

Let’s hope that the alleged murderers are in holding cells that have posters all over the walls assuring them:-

NO BODY

NO PAROLE
