I think this is pretty telling who the Police are interested in!

Police narrow in on vehicle as search for missing teenager continues

Police are appealing for footage of a vehicle travelling through a Queensland national park as they continue the search for missing teenager Pheobe Bishop.

Emergency crews are today conducting a land, water and aerial search in a patch of bushland for the 17-year-old, who hasn't been seen since May 15.

Fire and Rescue teams are preparing to fly a drone over the Good Scrub National Park just outside of Gin Gin, an hour away from where Bishop was last seen.

Today police appealed for members of the public who may have seen a Hyundai ix35 in the Good Scrub National Park, on May 15 to come forward.

Earlier this week, a grey Hyundai ix35 belonging to Bishop's housemates was seized by police and declared a crime scene.

Police have not confirmed whether they are searching for footage of that same vehicle in the park.

"Anyone with dashcam, CCTV footage, including bushcam CCTV are encouraged to contact police if they have footage of around May the 15th," senior constable Matthew Baker said.

Detectives have earmarked Mingo Road and Gayndah Road as particular areas of interest.”

Heartbroken mum of missing teen Pheobe Bishop asks locals to 'keep their porch lights on' as forensics arrive at new search location

The devastated mother of missing teenager Pheobe Bishop has urged locals to 'keep their porch lights on' as forensics arrive at the search for the 17-year-old.

Pheobe was last seen leaving a home in Gin Gin, Bundaberg, where she had been living with couple Tanika Bromley and James Wood, on May 15.

It comes as the search for Pheobe resumed on Saturday morning as over 40 SES volunteers entered thick bushland in the Good Night Scrub National Park.

SES volunteers from Bundaberg, Elliot Heads, Moore Park, Gin Gin, Gladstone, Calliope, Mount Perry, Bargara and Tiaro are assisting in the search which has moved to the wider area in and around Gin Gin, and rural areas west of the suburb.

A drone expert from Queensland Fire and Rescue is being deployed above the area to assist in the search for the missing teen and will focus on the river.

Among the volunteers is Gin Gin resident Midge, who has worked with the SES since 2011. She could be heard calling instructions through the trees to her team.

'It's going to be hard going today. It's just going to be thick scrub. We don't know what we're looking for, just anything out of place,' she told Daily Mail Australia.

I agree. The story about the dogs has been debunked by Detective Acting Inspector Ryan Thompson, and yet, people continue to share it.
Can you provide the link to where the detective has debunked this? I can't find it anywhere.

They must be getting closer, with honing in a specific location, those evidence markers and bringing in forensics. I think it won’t be long until they find Pheobe, or at least have something more to say.

Wow!!!!!!

I missed this bit…..

“Officers have seen footage showing Pheobe in the back of the Hyundai caught on the CCTV of a home on Samuels Road.”
Have they confirmed the day she was seen in the back of the car? Sorry if this has been answered already

Ohhhh noooo…. That does look like duct tape….

  • #296
Looks like it, but surely officers wouldn't be leaning on it like that?
Maybe. I thought it could be luggage or a police bag. But there is that big brown evidence bag next to it that looks big enough to hold it. I hope it's not it

This looks like a towelette, like a wet wipe, next to the duct tape.

Ok, let's remember that other people have been out that area, dropping or discarding stuff while bushwhacking or hunting.
I want to cling to some hope here, not ready for bad news.....

Police have found items of interest.

The video has the information, the editorial itself hasn’t been updated.

There are 2 videos in the link, one after another. In the 2nd video the news reporter states that she has spoken to the boyfriend.

Go to this 9News article and as you scroll a video should come up on bottom right. 36 seconds in the reporter says "item of interest" while the camera focuses on part of the greenery. View attachment 588063It looks like plastic under leaves...

What time frame is the sock?

That piece of white fabric is what we thought was a sock yesterday.

The duct tape is in the same area that was shown in the videos yesterday - you can actually see the duct tape in the image that was shared yesterday by @S.. in the very top right hand corner of the image. It is where that plastic? Sandshoe? Backpack ? was shown yesterday

Then todays video shows the full image of it
