I think from the photo released of the vehicle - it looks like the plates are the original.
I believe the photo the police released is the airport one so there’s roughly a week in which they’ve changed the plates/vehicle badge.

They are the original plates, not stolen ones.

The 1 was changed to a 7 (rather badly). The E was changed to a B.

And the lettering of NSW is really bad.

Also, there was a really bad attempt to change the rear door Hyundai badge to a Toyota logo. That would stand out for me before the license plate did.

"Last seen alive" does not sound good, BUT it also is a rather common phrase and it is also possible LE or someone else has said this to the housemate--"You were the last to see her alive...tell us what happened."

The housemate may know she is deceased OR he may reasonably suspect it based on something he knows happened or simply the timeline of events. Clearly not normal stable adults the pair of them, that's certain.

According to LE, there was NO sighting at the airport at all, either in a vehicle, getting out of a vehicle, or walking along the sidewalk with a suitcase.

They are STILL not charged of anything connected to PB.

I'm also not sure of anything concerning this case.

Time will tell.

the poor neighbour complained about extremely loud "regular parties" taking place there.

Oh,
not to mention howling dog/s.

I wonder what the owner thinks about this situation,

There were two people named as living at that Gin-Gin mess of a house, Tamika ( TB) and James Wood ( JW), with PB only recently residing there. Another roomate that has not yet been named would be a surprise. I think it is a mistake of news reporting.

TB had previous weapons charges. This arrest is not surprising. I think we have all been anticipating TB being arrested for a charge not overtly related to missing RB, yet.

Ms Bromley and Mr Wood's neighbour, Shari Loughland, told Daily Mail Australia on Thursday that Pheobe had only been living there 'for a few weeks, up to a month or two'.

She said living living next door to the couple had become 'horrible' as she had to deal with regular noise from parties.

Last week she had made a complaint to council and RSPCA about their 'howling dog'.

In the US, the age issues comes up under who is legally allowed to sign and be responsible for a contract.

I see it when it applies to renting a hotel room or leasing an apartment, renting a car, or taking on a debt such as a credit card. It also can vary by state.

Generally, unless you are in the US Military, the age for car rental is usually set at 21. Hotel room rentals vary more, with 18 being the minimum.

There are CCTV through Bundaberg town and surrounds, including Gin Gin. I don't know the area to map them, or understand the route into Bundaberg from Gin Gin (or to the state forests they have been searching), but I would be confident the car has been seen on the Council CCTV and possibly shops, residences, service stations etc. That supports that the police know the car was heading to the airport and in the vicinity of Airport Drive (not covered by CCTV) and likely tracked back through the town, giving them an idea of any time 'gap' between movements away from the airport, back home to Gin Gin and then...

What the CCTV might not have shown is if PB was in the car, keeping in mind she had recently dyed her hair the same colour as TB. Hence, the requests for dash cam footage to determine what happened on Airport Drive, but also the car occupants.

I think the BF call is solid, there is no reason for him to lie, and there would be evidence of the contact on his phone. Given that it is consistently referred to as a call, I think it wasn't a text and he heard her voice. If he heard her voice around 8.30am, then she was in the car somewhere near the airport.

A few people have mentioned waste tips, I don't know what tips are in Bundaberg and Gin Gin but there are some waste management CCTV sites (these might be tips?).
