So JW was questioned by LE because he’s male and looks the way he does. Not because he is housemate of PB and last person to see her alive! Wondering why it took him 8 hours to respond to

I believe we can show posts from the Victim, this aligns with her moving into the Gin Gin house a few months ago. It also helps explain how she was saving. She sounds gorgeous, heart breaking all over again.

Yeppoon is north of Rockhampton, three and a half hours from Gin Gin.

I know fire is a potential hazard but in these type of situations of piled up detritus, can people make a bonfire on their own land? It'd surely be more hygienic to burn up or mounds of litter than have it festering? JMO

Isn't it paradoxical
that a girl whose job was to clean other people's properties
was forced to live in such filth?

:(

We have a saying in my country
"A shoemaker
doesn't wear shoes himself".

What's alarming to me is that the "flatmates" had only lived in that property since October. That is a LOT of rubbish to accumulate in such a short time frame, IMO.

Does anyone know what JW's profession was/is?

I’ve just read what I posted more closely & edited my comment as I was running late to collect my teenager from the station & yes April 2024 in Yeppoon (I thought 25 in my haste) which means between then and a few months ago she moved to Gin Gin (I think her mums in Gin Gin) so does that suggest she’s been moving for at little over a year - she says she’s new to Yepoon so that’s 2 moves & 3 places, from ? To Yepoon then Yepoon to Gin Gin (she would have been 16 when she moved to Yepoon & already had an ABN (pretty grown up I think)

Agreed.
Further up thread there was a picture of the rental listing, which mentioned that the yard was going to be mown, or cleaned up, or something to that effect before the lucky tenants moved in. From memory, it wasn't that bad at all, certainly a far cry from the dump it is now. I feel for the landlord/lady.

Maybe they were clearing dumped garbage from other people's properties (as paid for clearance / cleaning work) and tipping it on their own back yard? Otherwise I can't quite imagine what it all is. JMO

So, who knows? 🤔

Something like hoarding.

It begs the question of who she was staying with in Yeppoon if new to town.

Also, JW is from Emerald, which is three and a half hours from Yeppoon.

Coercive control is now a criminal offense in Qld.As of today. Interesting that the judge today noted that TB had been under CC of JW.

How bizarre that the photo of this disgusting property and outside area could be the same photo as the house shown in the Jack and Lilly missing case in Canada.
One word …. Drugs ?
IMO

"Phoebe Bishop's cryptic final post

deepens mystery of missing teenager.

In a final TikTok post two days before she disappeared,
Phoebe participated in the
'coffee with my younger self' trend,
which is usually reflective and heartwarming.

But her version was troubling.

'She sat down after giving every person in the café a dirty look …
I walked in greeting everyone with a smile and being greeted by one.

She didn’t speak,
she could barley [sic] look me in the eyes.
Her responses were short and so was her temper'.

Earlier posts paint a similar picture of emotional distress.

In March, Phoebe wrote,
'I’m not built for this town,
these aren’t my people'.

In another, she said she was
'losing sleep and losing peace of mind'.

The cryptic messages are now central to the investigation,
as police search for clues about her mental state
and possible plans
leading up to her disappearance."

I wonder whether there even is a boyfriend or friend there or whether he's made up.
I'm confident there is a boyfriend, mainly because this is one of the first things police would have looked into and verified.

As for RJ's comment about the boyfriend being his son, it does appear that he has several children who are all much younger than PB. It could simply be that the boyfriend isn't in those pictures - could be RJ's son but has a different mother to all the other kids we see in the pictures on his profile.

Have the police actually said anything about the boyfriend? I thought it was always along the lines of 'a family member said she was going to visit her boyfriend'.

I’d like to retract the costs I quoted.. I just investigated further.. Qantas is min $700 to max $3600 EACH WAY according to their website. How the hell could she afford that?!?
Flights in AU are expensive if you’re booking a few days out. I think we can assume if she had planned the trip, she would bought her ticket on sale.

Might she have been eligible for a student fare? A youth fare?

I worked in the travel industry for decades and we cannot go by the fares on the website as what someone actually paid.
No, no youth fares in AU for air travel >12 is an adult fare.
