DAILY MAIL ARTICLE - 10th November
A family friend of the man accused of kidnapping CS says the doll-obsessed 36-year-old must have had an accomplice because he doesn't have the 'know-how' to pull off the act alone.
Daily Mail Australia exclusively revealed how the brave four-year-old told detectives a mystery woman came to the house to dress her and brush her hair, with police now investigating the possibility another person was involved in her alleged kidnapping.
Now a family friend of Kelly has revealed she believes he had help in CS's 'abduction' because he doesn't have the capacity to carry out such a
crime without assistance.
'He wouldn't be because he hasn't got the know-how of how to do things,' Barbara Graham told Nine.
'He would have had someone there to show him what to do and where to go and what.'
Meanwhile, a potent chemical cocktail has been sprayed into the derelict house where CS was allegedly held captive for nearly three weeks as detectives hunt for fingerprints.
A covert forensics expert told Daily Mail Australia the chemical sprayed into Kelly's home was likely
Superfume, a superglue sprayed into rooms with humidifiers to obtain fingerprints, possibly those belonging to an alleged accomplice.
The chemicals are so potent that investigators must wait two days to re-enter properties where it's deployed.
The substance was sprayed into the dilapidated home on Tuesday and cannot be touched until noon on Thursday.
WHAT IS SUPERFUME?
Superfume is a cyanoacrylate fuming system for developing latent fingerprints in situ at major scenes of crime.
Designed to treat domestic rooms, offices, garages and vehicles, it involves a type of superglue being sprayed and then evaporated.
It is used for large volumes of space, such as whole rooms and their contents at crime scenes.
The substance is so potent that it must be left for 48 hours before it's safe to re-enter the room.
