Timeline Question : When did FM take the drive to Batar Creek Road??? As far as the Riding School???

What are your thoughts on when this occurred given the timeline as we know it?????

Sorry for such a long post but I wanted to include a referenced timeline

Foster Mother admits she drove to Batar Creek Road as far as the Riding School ..... (Video in this link)

The footage of the walk-through was played while the foster mother was giving evidence at the 2019 inquest into William's disappearance and presumed death.

A critical 96-minute window between when William Tyrrell’s foster dad drove to the shops and police arrived at the scene the day the three-year-old disappeared could hold the key to solving the baffling case.
Mobile phone records have shown that William’s foster father left his mother-in-law’s home in Kendall at 9.30am on Friday, September 12, 2014.

Then after searching up and down the street and all around the house, she (FM) decided to call police.
The inquest also heard from neighbour Anne Marie Sharpley, who was the first to help William’s foster mother search for him.

We’ve been looking for him now for about 15 or 20 minutes but I thought it could be five or it could be longer because he was just playing here and we heard him and then we heard nothing,” William’s mother told the operator when asked how long he had been missing during audio released by NSW Police today.

So when does the "drive down to the Riding School" appear to fit in this timeline????

AMS and FF have not mentioned the "drive" in their evidence at the inquest, that I am aware of????

Interested to know your thoughts on this, or if anyone has found evidence on when this drive actually occurred to add to the timeline???
All thoughts respectfully accepted.

ALL IMO

Thank you for that Slouth.

You know I have never come across any information that the male carer or the neighbours saw or knew she drove down there?

In my opinion it appears she drove down there prior to searching the surrounding area and neighbour's properties. I can understand how that may be troubling to Police

Discussed in the context of FFC being familiar or not with the surrounding streets?
I know Emergency Services are "big" on the "nearest cross street" ..... but I don't know the name of my nearest cross street either.....:eek::eek: - its a long rural road, and we use the "causeway" to distinguish the address..... (I couldn't tell you the nearest cross street at my Mum's either.... )

So I don't think FM not knowing that info is all that unusual......IMO

You may have a point about not usually driving the FWD ..... not being comfortable...;)

No

,
No not if the washing machine was not working

And given the circumstances who could be bothered doing washing anyway. Although there was washing on the line, part of which was a small red jumpsuit, presumably Williams. Not the Spider-Man one though

I'd say the FGM probably did some hand washing, something to keep her busy in the middle of all the chaos. Kids clothing would be easy to hand wash IMO

I have come to the same conclusion as Slouth. That the drive was before AMS or FF.

It makes sense, that if he's not in the immediate area, take the car and check he hasn't walked there, particularly with the risk of being hit by a car.

But it doesn't make sense to me if she didn't tell anyone this on the day.
Then why only drive in one direction? I think her thoughts were all over the place as to priorities. He's not here, he must be here, he's not, it's only minutes, he can't have got far, he's been taken. She thought he had to be in Benaroon Drive and she went toward the swings and then she saw AMS. Running over the road was an extension of running around the house looking for him inside and out. You look where he's most likely to be before you drive somewhere else.

Thanks for your detailed post SLouth.

I'm more inclined to think We've means FFC MFC FGM and AMS and the 15-20mins is from the time MFC arrived home.

Detectives follow the evidence to reach a conclusion. They don't decide on a conclusion and then look for evidence to fit that conclusion.

BS and PS may disagree with that, where GJ was concerned.

I'd say that objective detectives work that way.

Yes that makes sense Blues...... good point!
And it was roughly 20mins from when FF arrived home ......

With the amount of Police, SES, volunteers and media that were swarming the house, I'd find it very suspicious if she was handwashing any clothes amongst this mayhem. Especially the clothes of the child that is missing.

I agree that the drive occurred before neighbours were involved and before the FD arrived back. I also think that it makes sense to be one of the first things you would do when looking for someone if you can’t find them on the property - jump in the car.

What I don’t understand is why the drive wasn’t ever discussed by the FM/FD in podcasts or interviews as part of the timeline. Other things are repeatedly mentioned about that morning like what time the FD left and why, the various activities etc and even where the FM/FD searched before and after the police arrived. They were the last people to see William alive, they want him found and want to help by giving as much information as possible about what happened that morning but getting in the car and looking for him - which could be perfectly innocent and a natural thing to do when looking for a missing child, is never discussed.

20 minutes from when FF arrived home? I thought FF called/texted FFC to say he’d be home in 5 minutes? Am I missing something?

FF arrived home at approx. 10:30am or a couple of minutes later, and the time of the 000 call was 10:56am
So roughly a period of 20mins .....

If we are including FF FM FGM and AMS in the search time mentioned by FM in the 000 call....

Hope that explains the previous comment better???
imo

Yes I'm sure they would and I don't blame them. GJ said of those investigations "we are following a line of enquiry" and it's logical the task force would pursue each line of enquiry until they were in a position to rule each person of interest as having no involvement imo

The Foster Carers, if innocent of being involved will no doubt have the same feeling towards DL

IMO GJ had a very good reasons to investigate PS, as the supreme court judge must have agreed to grant the warrants for the LD's.

I wonder if all those hours & hours of LD's have been listened to yet??

Everyone has been through bad times, sad times or good times in their lives.

I personally have found doing some handwashing and other household jobs has been calming and very therapeutic to me.

In times when I lost someone or someone wasn't well or some other stressful thing happened, doing small things like that was something I could control while everything seemed out of my control.

I found it very calming and it helped stop my mind from wandering and thinking the worst.
