I am using my imagination here:

"we were too wasted to remember anything at all except the part where she totally definitely left here completely safe, question us about that part of the story as much as you want, we got that part all worked out between us. Left at 3:30, how do we know? We heard hte door. It's for sure. Definitely wasn't here after 3:30. Nope she got into the car. how do we know? We heard it leave right away. Could anyone have gotten into it with her? No, no way, it was right by the door."

Seriously is it just me or does it sound like everything they "know" from the partygoers came to them in the form of denial, deflection, and self-interest? IMO, naturally.

:banghead:

If I was a mother questioning my kids and their buddies and got those kinds of answers my assumption would be that she definitely left WITH somebody, possibly by 3:30am, and that everyone else in the house knows it and needs to be separated, questioned, and played against one another. NO SUPPER FOR ANY OF YOU!

Above BBM....IMO...

Don't know if any of you are/were fans of the TV show "24"....but how I wish we had Jack Bauer and his "questionable but very effective" interrogation tactics. He could get the answers out of ANYONE!! With many cases here on WS, the thought that goes through my mind is "they need to go Jack Bauer on his (or her) a**"

SO glad Miss D called Sgt Pooley......but there's still no way I truly believe that NO ONE saw her after the accident, when she came back to change clothes. I think A would have been way too AMPED up and LOUD, saying "OMG!! I just crashed my car, etc"

I think she was kidnapped or accepted a ride from someone near the convenience store. I don't think her clothes and belongings being left behind are part of a set-up to make it look like she came home and left again. LE is saying she DID change and leave. Not that they were told she did those things. They must have a reason.

Yeah I agree up her being abducted by accepting a ride when she was on her way to meet the cab. Just going along with theory here that people at the party have to know more.

I worry that someone set her up to need a ride... Maybe a male who had a sick interest in her slit her tires and waited to bait her for a ride? IMO. Just trying to get some theories going here that I haven't thought of yet.

Or maybe he even just let the air out of the tires enough for them to blow once Adrienne began driving???? Didn't even have to slit them?? Ugh.

I still have a hard time to accept this as a fact unless there is a surveillance camera at her apartment (in which case they'd know what she was wearing when she left). Was there word on the party status during the time she allegedly returned? If nobody saw her, was it still in full party mode, chaotic? Had most people left and only a handful was gathered in the kitchen? Were a lot of people crashing there and sleeping all over the place? A beautiful drunk young woman coming in and undressing could give some an idea.

In that regard, I'd like to know if she also changed bras (read: if they found the black bra together with the blouse/jeans)

I sure hope this gets solved and we will learn all the details. At this point, I can understand LE just giving out only enough information to gather evidence.
I do not think this was heartbroken suicide. I do not think she's alive, though. My money is on someone who knew her and at one point was at the party.
Of course it always can be an opportunity snatching, but in that case, I have very little hope that this can be solved unless her body/belongings turn up pretty quickly. :sigh:

I agree!

So... this was an apartment? With like 40-50 guests?

I daresay someone else in the apartment building heard something and saw something, then. In fact I'm shocked there weren't noise/disorderly/etc complaints to that address earlier in the evening.

Otherwise - quietest, most inconspicuous bible study party EVER.

Been out of action on WS, due to very ill Mom. Been checking daily for updates. Out of all cases, I am so very shocked Adrienne has not been found yet. Thank you everyone for your tireless work. I am at a loss. I am really saddened it has turned into weeks. :(

My heart utters the same sentiments and sadness along with you. Hugs.

Yes! Perfect little angels ;)

Those parties get ROWDY. Not long ago there was a frat party on Hardy and University and a kid threw everclear into a bonfire and it burnt the faces of two females standing by the fire. He had no remorse reportedly. The poor girls are going to be scarred for life reportedly.

How was she planning on getting in to her BFs place? Did she have a key? Did she take it with her?

  • #550
Maybe she didn't need money with her bc she figured the bf would pay for the cab ride once she arrived at his place in Scottsdale? Maybe to be a nice guy and make up for a tough night and not picking her up? Or maybe she just wanted to stiff Him with the fare (lol I would have done this of I were mad at my bf at 19 years of age!)

Apparently she texted her BF that she was "Coming Over" after trying to contact him repeatedly (11 times). So maybe she assumed she could just show up and knock on his door since she told him via text she was "coming over"?

I worry that AS used another guy at the party that night to try and get her boyfriends attention/make him jealous... Maybe that guy felt used and harbors resentment or maybe it sparked an idea in his mind that quickly snowballed into a sexualized drug/alcohol induced obsession with AS that night? He felt teased.

When she wrecked the car and went back to change clothes did she ask anybody for. Ride to the BFs?

ugh my son did that not once but TWICE and it was the same cab driver both times and the second time he was POd like you wouldn't believe and boy did that cabbie throw words after my son and my boy ran, he told me later. Then when I drove him there and made him go back to man and pay him, he was all passive and nice to ME. hrumph...

Oh I meant stiff her boyfriend and make him pay the fare.

But yeah, some kids fare jump too and it is annoying - but happens! Your son sounds like my older brothers. Dennis the Menace! ;)

Yeah you would think she would have asked for a ride from a friend once she got back to the apartment from the wreck BEFORE deciding to call the cab... You would think that she would ask and that people would be aware she was back at the house after the wreck bc she was trying to see if someone could give her a ride...

Hm...

H2BS - if we take my story and turn it into a hypothetical situation with Adrienne, we might have another viable line of thought, however there is no suspect or official POI so I can't really look at that right now I guess.

But ya know I think we are on to something - that we believe she was abducted and That most likely she was abducted by an acquaintance because we have heard of no witnesses coming forth indicating they heard/saw a struggle in that neighborhood around the time of AS disappearance. LE didn't seem to find any evidence of struggle on her car or near the area of her disappearance. So no struggle indicates there might be more of a likelihood that she willingly procured a ride from her abductor.

I suppose there is no way I can convince you of what the Sargent told me yesterday, which is that they KNOW Adrienne returned to her apartment and changed clothes following the wreck and that no one states they saw her. And yes, there were cameras taking pictures. The party goers took photos of Adrienne.

My guess is that they, her roommates, found the clothes she was wearing when she left and knew she had changed. She also had brought back to the apartment the big bag she had packed that had contained a change of clothing and her wallet and keys. Sgt Pooley told me that all her identification was in there. His exact words were "Nothing was missing."

Good thoughts! Only thing I see that can't work is the last line - they found the blouse she had been wearing at the apartment, so its' unlikely that someone else came back and left her blouse there and then took back off IYKWIM. Also while she was there she left behind her overnight bag and wallet and a single key to her car, so it seems very likely that she did, in fact, return.

Hey GGE! Your mind is going 90MPH today! Interesting thoughts. Especially when you compare them to your kids. You had me laughing and thinking....gosh I'm glad she's not my mom. I wouldn't be able to get away with anything! hahaha

I think she left all her keys at the apartment. According to Sgt Pooley yesterday, she left everything. He told me specifically, exact words, "Nothing was missing."
