If I were on the jury I'd say good for CV meeting new women.Wow, Lori got three women's names out before the State objected. Sustained. Judge schooled her-- if CV went on dates is irrelevant to this case. (State asked for a sidebar -- LVD, smearing the victim.)
Lori is clueless.
She has shown the jury why she wanted to look at his phone. Why she might have suspected he was moving on..... add his insurance policy which she thought was in her name and she's looking quite involved.
Guilty.
JMO
Curious if she still has it and if so who is the beneficiary (s).Why does Lori keep
Mentioning the 2 million life insurance policy? What is she trying to spin here?
That’s her justification for having AC stay the night with her when CV was coming to pick up JJ. She told someone - can’t remember who for sure but maybe MG - that CV & Adam were planning to kill her for her insurance and BB was in on it.Why does Lori keep

No one would be paying the premium so it was likely cancelled before she was arrested the first time.Curious if she still has it and if so who is the beneficiary (s).
Can you have life insurance if you're incarcerated and/or for life?
I don't think that you are allowed to bring in new evidence in closing statements. It's supposed to be a summary. But yeah, she's gaslighting her true motive for killing him, by accusing him of wanting to kill her for the insurance. That’s her justification for having AC stay the night with her when CV was coming to pick up JJ. I don’t think she can get that in if she doesn’t testify unless her closing statement is allowed to bring in new info that did not come out at trial like her opening did. But that’s her spin - she didn’t have AC there to kill CV but to protect her from CV killing her and collecting the insurance.
It is damn confusing especially when you have the defendant asking the detective who cleared her of any criminal charges in the death of her husband why she didn't arrest her?Not exactly either. Just doubting the way the prosecution is tying it together so far using police testimony. I’m sorry to be confusing.
It's the thing she's angriest about. Why does Lori keep

Guess if there's a big life insurance policy, it automatically means someone might want you dead too. Prolly twice as much. Why does Lori keep

Good question @Nikynoo …. perhaps an attempt to try and show that they (LV and CV) were a reciprocal couple? And that they simply had these policies on each other, mutually? In other words, there was nothing amiss here in the defendant’s mind? But that is grasping as one cannot tell. Why does Lori keep

During AC's testimony it was said by Ray that AC's last texts to CV that were never answered by him the morning he was killed were read at 12 pm something.Lori thinks it's funny that CV was texting women.
She tried to introduce FH, tried to introduce CV sent someone $1000. State objected, relevance. Sustained.
IMO she should have left that alone. Goes to motive.
I think her father was familiar with her policy or even suggested it, so she will try to get him to testify. That’s her justification for having AC stay the night with her when CV was coming to pick up JJ. She told someone - can’t remember who for sure but maybe MG - that CV & Adam were planning to kill her for her insurance and BB was in on it.

Today's witness covered it. Iirc CV's phone and two of LVD's phones were basically in the same place, possibly the hotel where CV had been staying.During AC's testimony it was said by Ray that AC's last texts to CV that were never answered by him the morning he was killed were read at 12 pm something.
LVD had CV's phone, where was she around noon that day?
According to the timeline from location of Charles', Alex's, and Lori's phones - they were all three at the Chandler PD until around "the noon hour" when they were transported back to the area of the home where CV had been shot. Then from 1:42 to 2:07 pm they were in the area of Alex's house. Lori called Det. Ynclan at 2:07 pm. At 2:18 Lori called Valley of the Sun Mortuary. Charles' phone was returned to the area of the home where CV had been shot between 2:43 and 3:11 so LVD could hand over Charles' phone to detectives.During AC's testimony it was said by Ray that AC's last texts to CV that were never answered by him the morning he was killed were read at 12 pm something.
