So much for LVD's talk about how "evidence will show". LVD isn't presenting any "evidence".
Agree. I'd also like to know if CV stood twiddling his thumbs for the length of time AlexC took to allegedly retreat to the bedroom to allegedly retrieve his loaded gun and then allegedly come back out to the large open room where he shot CV.If CV and AlexC were on the floor, in a life and death battle over the bat, how did anyone manage to hit the other one -- and in the back of the head, no less?
I would have liked for LVD and AlexC to be held to account on their improbable narratives. Show us, LVD, how CV chased you but didn't get off a single hit? Didn't break a mirror, overturn a chair? And all that time, no one said anything?
So. Not. Believable.

So many lies.Say wha?
AC said he doesn't know and he "assumed" CV hit him in the back of the head with the bat.
Was this brought out at trial?

IMO LE did learn it wasn't self-defense early enough to prevent other murders. That they didn't arrest Alex on the first day is not as important. But why didn't they see him as a threat later on?Not charging in my mind but a red flag. Something like, "Hey, something might be off here." We have seen plenty of other cases that gave LE cause for suspicion and lead to closer scrutiny. JJ and Tylee were killed within months. They might be alive if this team had been more inquisitive. Or, at the very least, Alex would have known he was on the radar and maybe he would have not killed them.
And why would CV stay???? If he got control of the bat and AlexC has retreated, why would CV stick around? Wait to see what AlexC was going to do? Makes. No. Sense.Agree. "Break!" - twiddle, twiddle, twiddle - "now, ACTION!"
In her post-murder interview, she mentioned receiving threats, but in court she insinuated that Charles sent her a daily message expressing his devotion to her, while also trying to date multiple other women. If he was done with her and was a threat to her, why would he flatter her? Can't help but to wonder if LVD sent threatening messages to herself from an account CV forgot he even had, but then, it was likely a complete falsehood.
Besides wanting to save his marriage and believing LVD was fixable (she's not), it's clear that he was deeply invested in the children and their well-being.
That he would raise a bat to T, find me another prison who thinks that's even kind of credible. CD doesn't count.
CV was trying to shield the children from LVD, he had no way to know how deadly she was willing to go.

Shoots credibility in the foot.
I wonder what did happen that day. We know that AlexC and LVD were in deadly cahoots but I would like to know just exactly what they planned and how it played out. If only a phone had been recording... but CV didn't even get a chance to do that. Ambushed.

It's Lori and she lies and twists and distorts things to make herself look good and others look bad.In her post-murder interview, she mentioned receiving threats, but in court she insinuated that Charles sent her a daily message expressing his devotion to her, while also trying to date multiple other women. Revised date of Doomsday must be approaching.Lori wants another speedy trial. Asking for May 11.
She is a piece of work.
