Why does this article have this:
A Maricopa County Superior Court judge tentatively set Vallow Daybell’s trial for Feb. 24.

I thought it started 3/31/25 with jury selection??
That article was published yesterday (5 Dec. 2024). And, as to your second question: "I thought it started 3/31/25 with jury selection??" -- as Ms. Vallow herself would say: "Correct."

[It really irked me that she had to "corroborate" every statement/question addressed to her by the Judge. Instead of saying, "Yes, your honor," she said "correct" -- as if he was asking her if HIS understanding was right.]
What a clown show this will be.

Now that she is representing herself, how many months do you think the trial will last?

  • #644
She thinks because she has been involved in trials and read case law that makes her able to represent herself??? This should be good. As stated above, popcorn and ice cream time is coming soon.

Is death penalty available for conspiracy to commit murder?

As much as she likes to hear herself talk....haha...it could be awhile!

No. She'll get life, with the possibility of parole after serving a minimum of 25 years. However, she's going to be one busy gal behind bars -- she's going to be serving a life sentence in Idaho, with no possibility of parole (well, maybe later, after she goes on up to her throne in Goddess-land, where she'll meet up with her Great Prophet in the afterlife).

I wonder what the attire will be for her in the courtroom?

Should be a clown costume. She assumes her "trial" abilities will suffice for a 4 year law degree and a bar exam. Foolish.

She seems very confident. She seems to think since she's been on trial a couple of times, that makes her an expert now. I guess she has nothing to lose really. Maybe she wants to do it as a chance to do some preaching. She may be interviewing witnesses, which is kind of gross.

Respectfully snipped by me for focus...

It annoys me as well. Beyond that, I have to wonder what is the sense in even trying this case. She already has been sentenced to life with no possibility of parole so she's never getting out. Why allow her to prance around again and put on a show?

Realistically, it doesn't matter if she's convicted of this killing, too. It just costs taxpayers big bucks that could be used to put other criminals behind bars.

Just let her rot away from the public eye at this point.

Alas, a disadvantage of a fair judicial system is putting up with stuff like this.

Interesting close up choice in the stream.

Looks good on you Lori!

As long as she has access to hair and beauty products she will drag it out if it’s up to her. She still thinks that she is in a pageant show.

I think she'll drag it out too. I'd hate to be picked for that jury. JMO

I suppose she's insisting on photographers being allowed?

I use this court site for her cases:

They said the first trial will be the "2021" case (Charles Vallow) and they will set a date for the second trial (Brandon Boudreaux) at the conclusion of the first trial.
