Weellll it does matter to some. Because I think it's important to know who else was in the Maple Gate house while LB was being murdered. Apparently it's looking like DM was not alone in the house with her. Who all was there? MM, MS, CN? MOO.

MM is going to be able to tell us who was or wasn't there with Laura that night especially if she and MS were living there at the time. MM is no dumb bunny. She knows what's up IMO.

MM can say that it was her that made the changes on the Ipad without impunity if it truly was her, (which I don't think it was). She didn't know Shawn Lerner. She may not have known it was Laura's. It was a gift from Dellen. Who knows where it came from and what story she was told.

I think MM will be a wealth of information and able to fill in the blanks on this one. There was more time between the murder and the arrest for MS to drop info that MM could have stored away. With the TB murder he didn't have enough time to really let his guard down and give MM info.

I believe MS told her lots. Apparently MS thinks she knows stuff because upon being arrested and yelled at her "DON'T TELL THEM ANYTHING!

MOO

I think it matters who renamed the iPad as in doing so the person who did it might have found out that it was registered to SL, not LB - another fly in the ointment.

DM had been researching information on apple registration re. AM's phone that LB claimed to have found.

DM might have learned how apple products can be traced and the registration #could not be altered.

I think only DM would rename it 'Mark's' so there would be no confusion as to who claimed ownership should LE trace it back to either of them.

It was registered on DM's computer. IMO DM gave his underlings liberal access to his computers so that he could divert blame if needed.

MS's text to DM saying 'you gave me this iPad' (I don't know if that's verbatim) was entered into evidence for a reason, IMO.

I haven't been able to follow this trial along in real-time like I did with TB (due to a new job) but I just want to say thank you to everyone for posting tweets and sharing thoughts.

I didn't think it was possible after everything that came out in the TB murder trial but I am constantly being shocked and sickened by the depravity of DM and his merry band of degenerates.

Like many of you, I wish CN would be held accountable; I truly believe if it were not for her, LB would be alive. At TB's trial, CN said it took her 18 months to fall madly in love with DM. That's just about the time between LB's birthday (when CN and DM first hooked up) and when LB was killed.

I don't think that MM will say that much , she might be able to verify some of the dates. That is my opinion unless she can also clear up about where MS was when Laura was murdered and if he was with DM, then that will help convict MS of the murder.
If she can say that MS was DM and that helps to convict MS of Laura s murder her testimony will be very useful.
I hope that there is another M1 for both of them and then everyone can know they will die in prison, they ain't going to be getting out.
Paul Barnardo is in his 50's now and he has applied for parole a few times and was denied, He is going to die behind prison bars thank god. The same will be the fate for DM and MS if a M1 on this one and I am sure many will celebrate to hear the verdict.
i want the trial to be over quickly so the jury can find these two guilty and then they are gone for good , and never to be heard of again , except if one of them gets killed in prison. JUSTICE WILL THEN WILL BE SERVED FOR LAURA.
I also hope that the Babcock family and Bosma family can get the court to make DM s mother pay any money that belonged to DM to those families, so that also will be JUSTICE for them and the horrific ordeal they have been through.
All the money in the world will never be enough , but for Sharlene Bosma to have the money to raise her daughter and probably donate some to the charitable fund for other victims of homicide.

This is very interesting. How do you know this?

That he wasn’t home? It was reported years ago when DM was first charged. That he was involved... MOO

Some interesting feedback on the social media giant FB (Dellen Millard discuss the case) with some posts coming from people claiming to have inside information, or part of the large inner circle of some mentioned in both cases. After digesting the evidence up to now, I have 2 shout outs, and 1 shout AT with regards to the current case.
2 shout outs, SL for genuine concern and actually trying to do something, and billandrew for timeline updates. And my SHOUT AT would be to the Toronto police service, you are negligent!!

Patiently awaiting the upcoming testimony of MM which should shed some light on the events of July 3/4 2012

I wonder what prompted the text where Smich tells Millard that he didn't buy the iPad, Millard had given it to him? Was Millard trying to collect on what he thought was a debt?

I’ve wondered the same thing. For some reason we’ve not been told. Could it possibly have anything to do with the next trial?

But LE did pick LB up once that we know of and took her to the hospital. IIRC her mother or father called LE to make this happen claiming she was mentally unstable. Apparently LE did have some background information on LB which went back before the missing person's report was filed. In all honesty, I personally don't think we should criticize LE before we have all the facts.

How do we know they didn't contact DM or anyone else connected to her, the escort business or men she was servicing? We don't. Did LE contact DM and he gave them some 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and bull story as he did with SL, making LB appear as a very troubled young lady into drugs and escorting (which we know she was, and perhaps LE knew that long before her disappearance also), and DM stressed he had suggested to LB she should get help, that he tried to help her but couldn't get through to her about the dangers she was putting herself in...sounding sincere to LE. What more could LE do other than to get a search warrant for all of DM's properties and his electronics looking for evidence. Seems pretty steep when they really had no real indication other than her phone records in which he could have easily explain away with lies, about how she had called him looking for a place to stay, drugs, just wanting to talk to someone, asking for money, rides, or a million other things. Some people make great liars and DM is one of them. They only thing LE had to go on was DM was the last person to have contact with her via cell phone. The fact that other people who knew LB, claimed to have spoken to her or seen her after July 4th, pretty much indicated to LE DM was not the last person to have had contact with he...if they were questioning people. Shall we put LE on the back burner until we get the facts? ALL MOO.

I agree. This article explains a little more about her lifestyle and the police involvement:

"In Toronto, police receive more than one missing person report per day and recently told the Star they file as many as 3,000 reports each year.

"Investigators are often blunt when a missing person has what they deem a “high-risk” lifestyle — such a designation includes prostitutes, escorts and people who might move from place to place a lot. ...

There were 5,694 missing person reports in Ontario in 2013 (the number can include repeat runaways), according to the federal government’s National Centre for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains ."

Then why would it be mentioned at this trial?

Millard called his phones Dell's Iphone. Dell's hard, etc. I doubt Mark would call the ipad Mark's ipad but that's JMO.

Also there is evidence against DM re the incinerator and him being at the hangar and picking up Laura, the last phone calls so BOTH have evidence against them.

MM likely named the ipad - I doubt she called Mark Say10..

With all the texting about people knowing too much and having to keep the real life stuff low key, along with the timing of stealing the Harley. I wonder what WM knew about DM's activity?

Hiya Snoop! I am actually furious at the Metro Toronto Police officer(s)who were assigned to Laura Babcock’s missing case. When I see the enormous amount of evidence which could have quickly been uncovered when Shawn Lerner gave so much information to the police. Had they been diligent and begun an investigation immediately, as they should have, DM and MS would have been arrested in no time, and Tim Bosma and WM would still be alive.

The police had ample opportunity ... they simply didn’t think an “escort” with mental health issues who used drugs was worth their time to be diligent and investigate properly. We are all human beings with faults and no matter what deserve the same diligent effort.

I am just sickened by this. Those officers involved in WM’s and Laura’s murders should be deeply ashamed of themselves. They did not perform their jobs. They should definitely be held to account in some way for indirectly allowing the murders of two more people.

The Hamilton Wentworth police and the OPP were outstanding, and immediately got on to Tim’s case tenaciously.

And they wouldn’t have had to if Metro Toronto police had done there jobs. Such a wealth of evidence could have been discovered quickly. My heart and mind are screaming at those officers. (Rant over.)

This article may shed more light on it for you. For instance:

"In Toronto, police receive more than one missing person report per day and recently told the Star they file as many as 3,000 reports each year."

https://www.thestar.com/news/crime/...ck_leaves_lingering_questions_for_police.html

Add to this the 911 calls they attend to daily and follow-up with other cases makes for a busy load imo.

MS/Dungey trying to validate that DM had the iPad and passed it on to MS? IDK really. It’s a bit of a puzzle. Same thing happened during TB trial. We were only shown parts of some conversations as they couldn’t be disclosed due to this trial . As billandrews fills in the time line, the pieces start to fit together.
IDK really.... just a guess.
Same as undated or time stamped messages.... Why?

Understandable, but they also have an obligation to follow up on easy to check leads. Like the Cell phone call records SL tried to make them aware of. My understanding is they didn't even contact DM. MOO

“More than 1” is really understating it I think. I feel like there’s at least one per day in each of the 17 divisions.

Just in case anyone is curious - from Billandrews timeline - DM asks MS about being ruthless to make money in March 2011. He does something similar to AM in April 2012 (telling him about dangerous and scary work). Searching for partners when he gets murder on his mind.

bbm was March 2012

from billandrew's timeline:

"Jan 18 6:53 pm
Millard texts Babcock: "I've been riding myself raw, and not in the fun literal way. Some days I only get 2 hours sleep!" (1/3)
Babcock Day 12: Falconer testimony
Jan 18 6:53 pm
Millard texts Babcock: "(well one day this week) point is I haven't had hardly any personal or social time. That said..." (2/3)
Babcock Day 12: Falconer testimony"

Wondering why he hasn't had sleep in Jan 2012? That has been his usual report during a murder.

Someone mentioned something interesting before about Facebook messenger... I know there’s certain people I text, there’s certain people I talk with on FB messenger more even if I have them as a contact and could text them. Guess getting this information is a little more complicated but one wonders if there’s anything on there.
