I can get to the home page but can't find the future programmes. Any and all help greatly appreciated.

The Disappeared video was only up for a short time before it was removed from the Disappeared website. I'm not sure why the video was removed.... It might be upthread someplace, but I'm having a hard time finding it.

I'm not sure why they were suddenly reading season 5? I know they've been running these episodes for some time.

So Bob didn't have time to put the key in the mailbox, or make his bed. And JeM was away from the house before 12. He has a receipt for 3.04. If he doesn't have one for before 12, he doesn't have an alibi?

ETA: In the light of this, that 3.04 receipt is just a complete red herring.

Actually there is no information indicating where JeM was between the 10:00am call to Bob and the time the CL arrived around noon'ish. There is no evidence indicating SiL made a trip to HD prior to the CL's arrival. The only evidence SiL made a trip to the HD occured after the CL arrived.

It appears that all the previous Disappeared episodes can be viewed online via that TV guide link I posted up thread. At least that's how I am reading it..... I can't check them without sound, but I think that's it.

zwiebel, there is no doubt I will find a link for you to watch online. This neurotic Cubs fan will definately make sure you have a workable link! LOL!

Regarding the Disappeared episode teaser-the person who emailed me back from the show indicated it went up in error. It was premature given that the show is part of Season 5, not 4.

I wish you could have seen it zwiebel-CL would have broken your heart. She seems to be completely genuine in her grief for Bob. But Disappeared did an incredible job of capturing her unease....it was disturbing.

Yes, especially if you look at the narrowing timeline - one daughter speaks to Bob around 11, hears JeM say he will be going out. Then JeM back at 12? That only leaves an hour, and that's only if JeM left immediately after he was heard on the phone. Luckily for JeM though, JuM seems to know that Bob disappeared between Noon and one ...... because much earlier and there would be so little timeframe to be abducted, it would look like JeM would have had to have been in the house with the abductor at the time......
ETA:, no, that's wrong. If Bob disappeared between noon and one, JeM and the CL were in the house at the time. JuM, ya got me that time!

LE has never verified any telephone calls after the 10am call. At least not publicly. Anyone could have answered the telephone from within Bob's home after 10am. There is nothing indicating LE can verify Bob was safe in his home after 10am the morning of his disappearance.

For all we know SIL could have answered the phone when PB called.....

More on keys:
JeM went out leaving back door unlocked/or he had a back door key.
CL did not have a key as she sat on step waiting and JeM let her in.
JeM left house before CL?
CL locked up by shutting doors behind her? But she had no key, so only way for her to lock up house is if back door had a lever lock inside and then she could leave by front door (presuming that could not be opened once closed behind her).
The house must have been locked because wasn't a welfare check made that evening and no-one could get in?
Next day then, JuM must have had keys or borrowed a set from neighbours.

In fact, Bob didn't even get time to tell JeM the CL was coming. And that's a real shame. That's truly heartbreaking. Just a few seconds to say, 'someone else will be here soon' could have changed everything.

I am convinced that there is a good chance that the CL was in danger herself that day.

You're so right about the CL...just from her words. The whole encounter sounds like the beginning of 'that moment' in a horror movie.

Could that be the same thing as there is in Europe? A paid-for service where your number is withheld? The person you called can't see your number but I'm sure the phone company would know......if the police were given permission to check records?

Re: the calls, so there was a 10am call verified (maybe the CL?), but no later call verified? So no proof JeM was overheard telling Bob he was going to the store?

Just for one minute going back to the boring 'minor repairs that generate no waste' issue; inbetween posts I've been fixing a couple of tiny problems with an old wooden floor. I now have:
used sandpaper(2 grades)
empty woodfill tubes
mixing bowl for woodfill
2 pairs of gloves (that stuff sticks)
A cloth
dustpan full of sawdust and filler
plastic sheet

to dispose of. If I'd used one of those plastic things to apply the stuff I'd have that to dispose of as well, but I'm now cleaning my metal tool instead.*
