Oh, and just to add, I could get two of me in the space that teenager crawled into (why do they do these things? Was I the same as a teenager? Surely not!) but I don't think anything much bigger could get in.
However, Mr Zwiebel who hasn't even joined but feels that his height of 6ft3 entitles him to an opinion, says he is not supple enough to get into that space himself, but with help, is certain he could. He needn't expect any help from me if he gets himself into that situation- where was he when I locked myself inside the closet?

Well, if what I think happened is what really happened, the human body in the 'trunk' area of the truck wouldn't be able to offer any muscle resistance or even be suffering any pain from an unduly cramped position.

Bob looked like he was on the thin side, considering the way age makes everything tend to head towards earth.

I have a friend in his 60s who was a Marine who says he weighs exactly the same as he did the day he left basic training but that his weight has retreated and taken up a dispersed formation.

You know what's adorable when there are two partners or spouses on the same forum who really love each other?

They rat each other out in really cute ways.

Bob's case tilts so much towards the sad because of the mystery of his disappearance and probable death. But it was also about finding new love and seeing a new future.

Having both you and Mr Zweibel on the forum would honour those last wonderful weeks for Bob and Fontelle. At least to me it would.

Oh GrainneDhu, that was such a lovely post. And I'm just thinking now my grandma who married my grandpa so late and so loves to care for someone, has been left a widow, and your father's a widower too....but my grandma's a redhead who lives up to the stereotype, so who would need the kind of family around her who would.....oh, I don't know, break windows and cry down the phone if someone went missing. My mind's off and running again.
I don't know how cute Bob and Fontelle would have been together, but I do know they had every right, every chance to be what they would have been as a couple. I am so sad for them both, for their stolen chances.

The blue route shows a way from Bob's house to a good dog-walking area, passing a range of CVS pharmacies. The round trip journey could be made in about 45 minutes.

Gosh, I've got real good at maps suddenly. GrainneDhu, exactly how loud do you shout?

My mama was lively and outgoing, kind of the spicy sort. My father was always the calm one (all that meditation! LOL) but now his life is flat without spice in it.

I admire Fontelle for her steadfastness. She has proven to be the loyal sort, for sure. I just wish Bob was still around to benefit from that sort of love.

That makes me wonder if Bob did have a dog walker at one point, as well as walking Sassy himself. That would be perfect for a dog walker, allowing 15 minutes for Sassy to play at the park.

Bob's friend, CA Exile, said that Bob's knees were bad, so he just walked Sassy up the street, across, back down the other side, across and home again. So a total of two blocks, not very fast. And not out of sight of his own home, so anyone who was going to meet him at his home would easily be able to see where he was.

BBM~~~~

I have always had the impression JeM would not or could not provide a description of what Mr. Harrod was wearing when he disappeared. Of course JeM has never spoken openly and given the public a description of what Mr. Harrod was wearing when last seen by him.

Notice that daughter RB uses the words may and might.

August 13, 2009(Daughter RB)

"Dad may have been wearing a pinkish/red stone masonic ring and a thin gold wedding band. May have been wearing white Reebocks type shoes, thin white knee-hi socks, white polyester pants, white belt, and an unknown color shirt over a white V-neck undershirt. Dad would have had a light colored hat to protect his head from the sun."

August 30, 2010(Daughter RB)

"I wanted to describe the type of clothing I thought Dad might have been wearing and to share our suspicion of the barber lady. At this point I did not know that Fontelle had already told them all about the BL when she made the report."

Yeah-funny that. So at least as far as RB knows, there is no clear description of what Bob was wearing and no clear idea of when he was last seen, and no clear idea of what her BIL tasks were that day, and no clear idea of whether or not he finished any one of those tasks.

Tight knit group of people arent they? :banghead:

For all we know, Bob could have been last seen in his pajamas, or whatever he chose to wear at night.

It's another discrepancy. The OC Register article from Oct 8, 2009 implies Jeff left after the CL, and in the Disappeared clip from April, 2012, the narrator says Jeff left before the CL.

OC Register

Bob Harrod wasn't in sight, but his keys and wallet were gone. Michaels told police he concluded Bob Harrod had visited a neighbor or gone for a walk. Michaels finished his tasks and the housekeeper cleaned and left. Michaels locked the house and headed home to Running Springs outside San Bernardino.

Disappeared

Narrator: Deeply troubled, Agnes finished up and left, shortly after Jeff, who had also completed his work.

http://www.ocregister.com/articles/-214111--.html

So via OC register, JeM suddenly seemed to have a set of keys. And how would he know if the keys and wallet are gone, but he cant give an accurate description of what Bob was wearing??

YIKES. I must be misreading all of this.

We know from previous court documents that there was a request to seal a document relating to Andrew, Windflower and the co conservators.

Anyone think they lost the bid to seal that document?

I think LE must have received the phone call logs for the house, Oriah. PB seemed to indicate in her post some kind of follow up regarding the call she alleges.

I think it comes down to who or what answered the phone between 11AM and 12PM, if the call actually came from her number. Surely PPD knows if one came from her, as well as other calls that might have come in that morning.

I am still wondering how wide an area we need to consider when pondering Bob's present location. If I were someone who was not in the habit of killing someone, it seems unlikely that I would move him from wherever I ditched him. I wonder if there was a chance he was disposed with items from the house?

Really, so she never read the police report? BS! She's so full of hot air someone should be looking for her in the goodyear blimp. RB's words are nothing more than a cma on her part. :furious:

I honestly think they're fighting hard to not learn their bil is responsible.....

After following D'Andre Lanes trial for murdering his daughter, even though her body has never been found, when that jury read the verdict - guilty - I just bursted out in tears and immediately thought, he did it and now a jury of his peers believe beyond any reasonable doubt, he did it. Oh, how I wished at that moment it was a jury coming back with a guilty verdict in Bob's case. Patience. I have no doubt justice will come for Bob....

Unless circumstances have changed significantly, I don't see why they might have won this time. I wonder if the reason for the request went something along the lines of; 'to prevent members of WS getting any access to information'?

Is there a way for us to find out what the decision was?

I don't know if wilful blindness is a legal crime, but it's certainly a moral one....

I can only think that JeM has a very bad memory, or Bob was wearing something that day that would indicate he could not have left the house willingly.*
When JuM was busy with the linens, it might have helped if she had taken some time to go through her father's wardrobe and see what was missing. Bob sounds like the kind of man who would have had a fairly limited wardrobe of old favorites and JuM knew a lot about his linens - so I'd have thought she'd have been familiar with his clothing too.

I don't really move around the forum much (in case I get lost and can't find my way back) and tend to avoid cases where young women have been snatched off the street - too often there's no mystery, it's all just tragedy. But I looked in on the Mighty Mickey Shunick case and it rushed to the end before I could get off.
There were so many incredibly moving things about that case, but one that sticks in my mind was seeing the huge list of people who volunteered to take a lie detector test for her. They wore it like a badge of pride. If Bob's bio family want to learn anything about moving mountains to find the one you love they should look there - and then weep for shame at their own efforts.

I'm sure LE has a call log. ;)
I was kind of wondering two other things, just to pry into that post a little more. The physical location of phone(s) in the Harrod residence- cause I kind of want to know where it/they could be heard ringing from and answered in time before a call went to VM or an answering machine- and also, if any incoming calls were from different providers than the Harrod's home phone, kwim?

As for Mr. Harrod's present location- I agree (minus the three+ year time factor which could allow for a lot of movement.) And sadly, it doesn't even typically matter if one is or is not in the habit of killing someone- they're usually dumped close to the origination of their last seen location. :(

Thing is with Mr. Harrod...I don't think many of us trust the veracity or honesty of the last seen report. Phone call, maybe. But not last seen.

<respectfully snipped>

That's always been my feeling...find the construction waste and find Bob. Incredibly sad. Personally, I couldn't live with myself knowing he was thrown out there somewhere. Can you imagine how it might affect one's sanity? (I would hope so, at any rate)

I just realized I could likely answer my own wondering question about location of phones in the residence by looking up schematics and phone jacks. Building permits and all that. Of course, there may not have been a phone connected to every jack- but huh. I am stuck on that post. I mean, if Jeff was there when Mr. Harrod was getting all of these calls, then he must have heard the phone ring...right?

Sadly, considering the unmade bed, you may be closer to the truth than the apparent guesses that were made.

I'm not sure how many phones Bob had in the house, but this video clip (filmed July 7, 2009) shows Bob on a cordless phone downstairs. You can see the kitchen in the background and Bob is standing near the front door.

Also, in this clip, Bob is wearing a paisley shirt, blue jeans, a white belt, and white shoes.
