The truth will find a way to come out, come hell or high water.

I am a big believer that things happen as they are supposed to. This strange sequence of events with the TV show airing in Australia for instance.

And look at all the new interest its garnered from halway across the world. Amazing. The truth will out. I am feeling good about it.

Agree!!Here's hoping the truth will out and Bob and Fontelle will get the justice they deserve, and that she is waiting for!

ETA: It's a lovely quote above, but it didn't need posting twice.

  • #725
This whole thing is so bizarre! The released and pulled clip, the changed date (twice!) then the release of a IMO censored version in Australia?? What is going on?

I think so too. Add to that Det. Radomski's comment (paraphrased) about twists in the case and his not being surprised if there were more twists in this case, along with his comment about family helping family.

Andrew's choice of not participating in the show really got me wondering where he was the morning and day of Bob's disappearance and are we looking at son protecting father? Or father protecting son here?

There is no telling what Radomski is thinking about what future twists he might forsee in this case. Hmm.

I'm going to stick my neck out now and say I don't think the hairdresser did it. It may be a very commonplace thing to 'disappear' people in California who choose to give a person money, so they can't give out the money anymore.......but I haven't been able to find the cases.

:floorlaugh:

No kidding...sigh, another little facet that never, ever made sense whatsoever. Killing the goose that laid the golden eggs? No way.

Someday, I hope some of the posters here will get together with Mrs Harrod and write Bob's story. I love the way you guys turn a phrase. :)

tlcya thanks for forwarding your post to the detective.... fingers crossed it will be helpful!

Something I have been thinking & after what happened here today with the ideas about the trust:
Undoubtably, the investigators know things we do not, BUT, do we know anything that has not been uncovered by LE? Diligent WS peeps have amassed a lot of information. For instance, has LE seen the inconsistencies & lack of concern in a certain daughter's posts on RotW? We probably have more detectives & man-hours (person-hours?) on the case than PPD.

There is a lot of material amassed in these threads. Definitely a lot of blood and sweat. I think LE has a lot of it-sometimes I wonder however how we can reduce it to a snap shot that will cause someone to want to know more. Or a snap shot that will hold someone's interest, AND point them in the direction where they can uncover more material.

The devil is in the details for Bob's case-once you start filling in those brush strokes you come up with the thousands of posts that make up what we have here. Not to mention the other websites where he is or has been featured.

So if you were making a pitch to a D.A., how would you reduce it but still get the point across that the solution lies within all of this material?

Below are the results I see on the Foxtel Australia, TV Guide when I do a search on “Disappeared” “Next 14 days.” I’m assuming times are Australia local times. I think it’s a little after 12:00am in Sydney, Australia now.

Foxtel has Internet TV with a package that includes the Disappeared channel, but it looks like it requires a Samsung Smart TV device. Darn.

Here is a link on legally transferring data from Foxtel to a personal DVD:

http://apcmag.com/how-to-rip-anything-copying-foxtel.htm

I dont know how contemporary the information is. Once the DVD is created, it is easy to put it onto You Tube.

ETA: I realize that this is an investment in time and energy. You guys have done so much already-if it can happen great. If not, no worries.

Agreed we need a succinct document. Perhaps we could put together a page of bullet point "conclusions" with links to info that supports each. (I know that sounds simplistic & this would not be a simple task.)

If this group had any power, we would have certain family members in for intensive questioning, so... are we not duty-bound to pass our work on to authorities? I wonder how many times the investigation team & prosecutors have actually sat down together to talk about Mr Bob. Two heads are better than one & I betcha for every person working this case from that end, we have several WSers digging & discussing possibilities.

Could we do this - everyone pitch points we should make & have Believe, who has been on top of this case (from the beginning?), Zwie & whomever wants to help, assemble & edit the supporting materials? I am just tossing this out to all Mr Bob's peeps. Please jump in with your own ideas!

I'll be traveling today. but will try to check in this evening. 1st question is, should we pursue this? If so, who will take the lead?

I could record it on DVD (at the moment I only have it on tape), burn to computer and change format to wave or MP3 and then upload to a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 site and then someone there could download it from 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. This is all dependent on my son coming home. He can do it, I lack the talent.

Jillian, I dont even know what to say about this kind of generosity. Please, if you can, that would be phenomenal.

I think we have the germ of something here...we may need to take it off the board to the members area of WS until we make it cohesive. I would hate to leave anyone out, but we dont want to sidetrack the thread either.

Let's ponder it.

And my friend, nozme, I was late to the party on this case, but I can do whatever you guys want me to do in terms of helping.

I think tlcya's tip might be a good tactic to take.

Jillian, I am completely, utterly lost when it comes to DVDs, MP3s, TVs and 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 sites. But if this could be done, it would be fantastic. Your son would laugh if he knew how many people he's never met are hoping he comes home in time today! Thank you so much for trying to help, even if it doesn't come off.

For the past three days I have been thinking exactly along these lines, and that now is the time for us to look really, really carefully at the information we have amassed. And then look at ways to present the important stuff, when we've found it, and also -very importantly - who we are going to present it to.

It is one thing to write a basic summary of the case to help new posters, another thing to isolate tips to send to LE, and yet another to define areas where attorneys could get a foothold and take it further. We're not police, we're not DAs, but we do have the best knowledge of what these threads contain, because we wrote them.

I think it's our duty to do the legwork - the Casey Anthony case keeps springing to my mind; imagine if our expert poster there had been able to come up with that information about those computer searches before the trial? The DA in that case had no idea those records hadn't been searched properly. Only a computer expert would have known to ask, has this been done, this been checked?

I completely support this idea, NoZme.

I think reducing the case to bullet points, the most salient info, is a great idea. It may help with our sleuthing and provide a quick means of bringing new interest to Bob's case.

I agree that taking it to another location might be a good idea so as not to derail this discussion thread.

I would suggest that we have two bullet point lists or rundowns.

One somehow nutshelling or telling the sequence of events surrounding Bob's disappearance, the other breaking down the financial aspect of things.

I think it important that someone geographically near obtain a copy of Georgia's will as soon as is possible. I want to confirm that the heirs got nothing and were simply to be the beneficiaries of the estate via the trust at Bob's passing. Also very important to find out if the Harrods estate plan involved reciprocal wills. For my theory on the whys and wherefores of Bob being missing rather than just killed by a burglar to work, their wills will not have been reciprocal in nature.

The chapter first defines and describes the unique characteristics of joint wills, mutual wills, and joint and mutual wills. It goes on to provide a thorough examination of the disadvantages and dangers of joint and mutual wills. These disadvantages include serious limitations on the use of the devised property by the surviving testator, the possibility that the property may be the subject of legal action intended to impose a constructive trust,
https://litigation-essentials.lexis...cid=2A01&key=f0da987749bd30e63cb7f69149c0a6eb

Reciprocal or mutual wills are often used to insure that spouses do not decide to rewrite their will after the death of their spouse. This type of will is often used with blended families in which there are "his, hers and mine" children. If gives each spouse peace of mind that after their death, the other spouse (who usually the deceased has left everything to) does not change his or her will after being widowed to cut out the beneficiaries who are the deceased bio children.

I have also seen this tactic used to insure one spouse does not cut out the favorite child of another spouse. Say john doe jr goes to prison and is a bad dude. john doe senior is mad at him and has disowned him. mommy doe wants to make sure her baby boy gets something after his parents pass away. A mutual or reciprocal will between mommy doe and john sr insures he cannot after mommy's death decide to go against her wishes that johnny jr inherit something and change his will.

I do not think that the Harrods had a reciprocal estate plan. But I sure would like to confirm that. Because if they did, that could shoot my theory down because Bob would be bound by the estate plan he made while Georgia was still alive.

I have been researching CA estate planning laws and statutes madly.

I feel reasonably confident that Bob and Georgia did not have a reciprocal estate plan or mutual agreement regarding their wills. It would be a very unusual choice of estate plans if they did considering their family dynamic.

So I am going to continue to theorize under teh assumption that their estate plan was as I suspect it was.

Two spouses each will leaving their estate in trust to the other, controlled by the other with the next successors to the trusts being their children. It is the most logical and by far the most common estate planning methods used for couples of means and the trust affords tax benefits. In that type of estate plan it is also common to deed all marital real property (houses, land etc) into the trust as well.

Again, I am not a lawyer and in no way should my thoughts on this case be construed as me practicing law or claiming to be an expert. I am simply a legal assistant to an attorney who practices in estate planning, probate, trusts, special needs trusts, guardianships and general areas of elder law.
