Now this strikes me as strange and worth examining further. The hairdresser had asked it be produced, and Bob's daughter said no. Why?

zwiebel from your post above. Wouldnt you love to know? At a minimum, I would say because it didnt show what the co conservators wanted it to show. The only other reason that springs to my mind is because there is either a time line or an event or a statement that the co conservators didnt want to share with BL or the court.

Am I allowed to wonder when Bob's daughters went through all his papers? I'm just thinking that, Bob disappeared Monday 27th, Mrs Harrod returned on Wednesday, 29th, and within days they had become estranged.

Then there were drawn-out legal processes for the daughters to obtain the contents from the house.

Surely daughters didn't go through his house and collect Bob's papers in that day before Mrs Harrod returned, only one day after Bob went missing?

The memorabilia list was going through the courts April 2010, so if daughters obtained Bob's papers then, there was plenty of time to go through them before the case against the hairdresser in 2012.

The memorabilia list doesn't mention Bob's documents though. And how could daughters have been managing his estate if they didn't have all Bob's documents already?

So I'd still like to know when Bob's papers were collected from his house.

Here is what I was looking for before real life pulled me away.

What oldest daughter Paula said on Disappeared. (BBM)

Daughter P talks about going to see Bob once or twice a month and about how everything was hard for him. Hard to get everything organised and hard to complete paperwork. He would repeat things to her multiple times.

Here is what oldest daughter Paula testified to in court:

From Court doc:
"PB testified that when she met her father 4 days before he disappeared, he was of sound mind and alert. PB also testified that her father kept detailed records of all monies owed to him, that he required a promissory note to be signed even by relatives, that she found the promissory note signed by herself and other relatives in her father's papers, but she found no promissory note or even an IOU pertaining to the money that (Bob) Harrod gave the hairdresser."

PB also said that 'yellow piece of paper' written by Bob that she'd found did list all the money he'd apparently given the hairdresser as gifts, but she declined to produce it. Now this strikes me as strange and worth examining further. The hairdresser had asked it be produced, and Bob's daughter said no. Why?

Does Roberta/Paula's statement about the discussion with the family law attorney days after Bob's disappearance help answer any of your questions with regards to when Bob's daughters or daughter oobtained the paperwork they were looking for? I mean one of them, the one who chose not to participate in the show, was in Bob's home from the day following his disappearance until Mrs. Harrod arrived. She changed the linens and compiled the mile long memorabilia list.

disappeared snippet re: the above.

Daughter R - straight away after Bob disappeared. we realised Fontelle was not on any of Bob's accounts. Took the info to an attorney and he advised what needed to be done to free up money to help Fontelle out.

Yes, and she was the one who knew where the keys to the safe were, it says on the memorabilia list. I've never had a safe. Is that the sort of place a person might keep important documents?

Luckily, Although JuM is a conservator of Bob' estate, her and her sisters seem to be close, and share a lot.

I guess they'll all know when - and who - first got access to Bob's documents. I hope LE has asked them.

Inconsistencies are not illegal, by the way. But I do believe they may still have profound effects in a court of law.

Actually, just look at the case against the hairdresser in our document thread, to see what inconsistencies can do to a case.

PB made the comment about Bob finding paperwork hard, repeating things multiple times etc, in a show filmed in February 2012.

She made the statement about him being of sound mind and alert in court in March 2012.

Yes, and I am quite sure she was aware of the March court date when the show was filmed in February.

I guess when it's for money they were seeking from someone else be truthful, but when it comes to the story about your fathers disappearance make up whatever story you want? Even though you testify to the exact opposite a month later? :furious:

I'm a worry mutton, as we say over my way. I'd be worrying myself sick at this point, thinking I might one day have to explain such inconsistent statements. In fact, I'd be busy explaining them right now, to anyone who would listen, if there was a good reason.

Or if there wasn't, I'd be telling people which one was right, and why I made the one that was wrong. Just in case the circumstances of the telling should be taken out of my hands, and out of my control.

Bob's son-in-law, JeM, has been shown in a re-enactment working in Bob's house, the day Bob disappeared. Across the globe.

It is about time he spoke out. Why has his wife, and then his sisters-in-law, being doing all the talking for him?

Yes, I'd say a few people are in quite a pickle with all the contradicting and conflicting information that is now becoming public. I wouldn't want to be explaining to just anyone..... I'd want to crawl under a rock, embarrased I was outed with my lies - and I'd be crawling to beg for mercy by telling the truth to the only people that matter, and that is LE.

I guess time will tell who is willing to save themself by doing the right thing or who is willing to throw it all away by continuing with the self delusion.

And while we're at it, let's not forget it took the grandson all of 4 days to decide his mortgage loan owed to Bob was forgiven because he believed his loan would be forgiven upon his grandfathers death. 4, yes 4 days is all it took for the grandson to stop paying his mortgage note to Bob.

The truth will find a way to come out, come hell or high water.

I am a big believer that things happen as they are supposed to. This strange sequence of events with the TV show airing in Australia for instance.
G'day from Aus. Grey matter is at work in the land downunder. I missed the cable tv show, however Zwie grabbed my attention. Glad to be in such auspicious company.

Still no narration in today's showing of Bob's episode.

I've had my nose in another case and just came to check in. I was 12 pages behind and haven't caught up. I'm confused about something.

Bob Harrod's Disappeared episode is cancelled for Feb. 18th??? But Australia saw a somewhat cut up version of it without all the bells and whistles??

They aren't going to show Bob's epsiode??? What happened!!!???! I'm totally at a loss right now and I want to know what's going on but it's later and I need to hit the sack, then get up early and have a full day. What in the world.......???????? TIA

Starting at 2:15…

Daughter RB: “In the first couple of days after Dad disappeared, we realized that Fontelle was not on any of Dad’s accounts. So we had talked to a family law attorney, and we took a copy of the Trust to that attorney, and we were advised of what needed to be done, to free up money so we could help Fontelle out.”

I dont think there is any big machination, fwiw. The show is postponed, not cancelled, which is a huge disappointment to everyone, absolutely. Some how, the show was aired in Australia several times, but without narration. we dont know if it is a cut up version-it may be the full version.

Oh, Seajay, we know how you feel! When the news came in, some of us were shocked speechless, some of us were totally confused and very worried, believeo9 sailed calmly on, but Disappeared had definitely gone wrong.

Then the Australians woke up and made everything all right again! In fact, they've made it much, much better.
